"Our yard had become overgrown with brush, fallen branches and just a mess.  Found Mark on Angie's List, along with others who I asked to come over and bid.  While Mark was not the lowest, he had a very competitive price.  But more important was his earnest commitment to my satisfaction.  I have a very odd piece of property, sitting on two streets with lots of tough terrain and he told me he will get this yard in great shape and came across as very believable. 
I am very happy with the work that was done, I see yard that I have never seen - we moved in and it was already tough, just got worse over the years.  Mark followed up with me at the end of the day to check in and let me know his crew would be back the next day.  I had two callouts and those were taken care of that next day, along with the final picking up. 
There was a change in original date, but i still rated punctuality as 'A' since Mark informed me of change, gave specfic new date and new date was still in my desired window for completeion.  I would not hesitate to use MAS again.

"Jim called back within a day of me requesting an estimate and came by a couple of days later and followed up with a written estimate by email. He knew immediately what had caused my front steps to fail. He started the work in a week or so. I was please that he offered me some choices and what would cost more or less. He was able to use most of the existing brick and stone. He updated me each day on how the project was going. Jim was great to work with and did a fabulous job. "George and his family crew were outstanding. They were on time and hard workers. Replaced front steps, removing old limestone caps, installed granite caps, mosaic of natural stones, and brick veneer to steps. Removed damaged concrete walkway and replaced with mosaic of natural stones lined with granite. Added new railings to bottom steps. Replaced limestone caps on retaining wall with granite caps and re-stuccoed wall. Repaired chimney. We have a beautiful front entry now that is safer and up to code and has received many positive comments. Would definitely hire again."
