"So we were having our brick stairs redone out front of the house and we wanted to find someone to replace the two broken railings. Because only the top-cap of each railing was broken, our contractor for the brick work suggested that a repair could be performed. One fellow quoted $1000.00 per rail. He wanted to leave most of the railing in place, welding in a new section of iron on the top of each rail. Once our our neighbor called someone else who quoted $400.00 per rail for the same repair, the other guy said he could match that price. So imagine my surprise when R D Neale from Baltimore Wrought Fence and Rail said that he could use the existing materials and do the repair for 85 bucks a rail and make them look as good as new! Sure enough, he came out right away, fixed up the rails, and even repainted them. The rails look great and I couldn't be happier.
