"Randolph was phenomenal!!! He was incredibly thorough, credible and knowledgeable. He was here at the same time as another company that was installing cable and Internet. He intervened when he heard the other technician give us incorrect and misleading information. He then advised the other tech how to accomplish what we wanted, in the manner we wanted. His intervention cost us extra, which he advised us, up front, but it was worth it! Had he not intervened we would have paid so much more later. He did a wonderful job on our recessed lights, placing them exactly where the boss (aka my wife) wanted them. She was tickled pink with his knowledge and expertise and commented that it was exactly what she wanted from her electrician. We could not be more pleased with this company and the person that represented them so well. Whenever we need any electrical work done, we will definitely call the Doctor - Dr. Electric."

"I was extremely pleased with Ontime Service. I received an advance email letting me know who would be coming to my home, with a picture I believe, and Sam introduced himself upon arrival. I liked that I could schedule an exact time for service and Sam was on time. They have a fixed pricing structure, so you pay for service, not time. "I called APS about getting a standby generator for my home, and the whole experience was great from the start. They took the time to explain everything in a way that actually made sense and walked me through what to expect instead of just trying to sell me something. What really stood out to me was how thorough they were. They noticed my gas meter was undersized for what I already had and helped get that addressed with the utility company before it became a bigger issue. That?s the kind of thing most people probably wouldn?t even know to ask about. Their pricing was competitive, communication was easy, and everyone I dealt with was professional and knowledgeable. The 10-year warranty being included was a nice bonus too. Overall, I felt like they genuinely cared about doing the job right. I?d absolutely use APS again and would recommend them to anyone looking for electrical work or a home generator."

"I highly recommend Sammy and his team. Apparently my house had settled which caused the underground mains to pull away, which damaged one of the 'jaws' on the incoming power lines inside the meter panel. As you should be aware, APCO owns everything from the pole/line in to the jaws, and you own from the jaws into your house.
The electrician, Cruz was right on time and very pleasant to deal with. In our discussion, he was also highly qualified for the task and beyond. Unfortunately we had to wait close to 2 hours for the Alabama Power guy to get there...
When the APCO guy got there and pulled the panel from the meter box it turned out that the third party APCO contractor went ahead and repaired the jaw, likely because it could be considered a safety/fire hazard. There was nothing for Cruz, the electrician to do. There was some previous legwork such as getting a permit, and scheduling time with APCO, so Sammy had some time and cost in it already. Sammy COULD have charged me the $100 for the permit, and $145 x 2 hours for a total of $390, but instead charged me for only one hour ($145). This kind of service just doesn't exist anymore. It was nobody's fault (except perhaps the fact that the APCO contractor did not relay these details to my account notes), but Sammy would have been justified in billing me the full amount because he had his guy out there for 2 hours, and then the time and $$ associated with getting a permit and scheduling with APCO. 
Thank you Sammy Rubin! I hope this review brings you more business because of the way you dealt with my problem. I will definitely recommend you to anyone I come across, and will use you for my next electrical need (the basement). God Bless!!
