"First lets talk about Stabil's business practices. I got 2 quotes to do the job. The first company gave me a quote that was 60% more than Stabil. Now price isn't the only thing that factors in here, it was that Stabil gave me an estimate based off what they thought the amount of polyurethane it would take and told me if it took more the cost per lb. The other company gave me a price I have to believe was for worst case scenario which if it didn't take all the polyurethane they believed it was never mentioned I get a refund. So, because of their honesty and sound business practice I went with Stabil. Now lets move onto the repair. Kevin and TJ showed up on time and started with he pool. Kevin talked to me during the event about the dangers of lifting concrete that include the possibility the pool concrete may not move because of the pedestal under the diving board and the possibility of cracking. He took his time and as the deck started to rise he made sure to bring it up evenly to prevent cracks. the pool was a success. Next was the porch. The porch was cracked in the middle all the way to the sides, where I had 6 separate pieces. Kevin and Tj brought up each section one piece by piece until all 6 sections were some what level. They got it so level it only took 4 bags of concrete leveler to finish the job and you would never know the cracks where there."

"The person who provided the estimate was punctual, polite & professional. BUT, we did not choose to work with B-Dry. Here's why...sales tactics, pressure, upselling, price. I did feel a little verbal pressure to commit immediately, (discount for agreeing by end of day of estimate) which was not our plan, we wanted to collect a few estimates & compare. As I compared I noticed a few things that I urge others to consider. They are definitely selling specific products, and using sales tactics. They have their own specially patented drainage "tubes". Its theirs & unique, but folks w engineering backgrounds might tell you what they think of a tube its flat on the bottom & hard plastic without perforation & how well that drains and what slime it could harbor. They only use one sump pump for all jobs which is extremely costly, though it is the most super top of the line pump, but it might not be necessary if your water damage us not extreme & if other aspects of the waterproofing job are done right. While their pump has a lifetime warranty, you could buy a new sump pump every 3 years (unlikely to be required) for a decade or more for the cost of theirs. Lastly and most bothersome was that while their estimate was very high, he looked around my basement & suggested that in the future I might need to do another specific area of wall that may be a concern, and provided me with an estimate of the bigger area if I want to, comparing it to the more urgent job, making it seem like the "cheaper" option. Later, 2 other professionals told me that same area did not suggest damage or need for future work. In the mail I was immediately sent glossy brochures for other systems & products from B-Dry & a sister company. In the end, for about half the price, and less damage to my house, I found an A-rated local company in business for decades with a life of structure warranty that worked more quickly & cleanly than offered by B-dry with quality, guaranteed materials."

"I had several places where drywall or plaster had to be patched. The handyman arrived on time and was very thorough. He was also pleasant to talk to. My only complaint was the price - it seemed high for this type of work."

"Juan, his son and the rest of the crew did a great job in repairing and installing a16 foot second wall with column to my patio. They also had to remove half of the pavers to re-level the patio and added pavers to fill-in the 3 feet of bed between the house and the patio on the left side of the steps. They were punctual and very professional. They laid down 4x8 plywood from my front driveway around the back of my house for heavier equipment to protect my grass. My wife and I could not be more pleased with the job that they did and plan to have them back next spring to add some lights to the other wall and columns as we really like the one's that they installed on the new wall."

"We were quoted a price of $195 to re-install our existing mailbox on a new post that would look as much like our neighbors' as possible, and we double-checked to be sure that this price included all labor, parts, etc before proceeding. The mailbox was instead mounted on a much thicker, stronger post and we were charged $250. We don't dispute the quality of the work, which looks good (it is all 4x6 whereas everyone else on the block has 4x4). "I had a 50-year-old house with a cinderblock basement wall that had water slowly coming through. I researched the various firms that did waterproofing and had three highly rated firms come out for an estimate. The first contractor didn’t even bring a flashlight and just looked around and said to keep an eye on it. The second gentlemen did provide detailed estimate and carefully explained the problem. Randy, the owner, from Chamberlin Washington provided a similar diagnosis and estimate. His estimate was not only a little less expensive but he looked at the entire house and found other things that could use some maintenance. This is what I liked about Randy – he looked at the whole house and discovered several smaller things that should be fixed to avoid issues down the road. These were all things I knew about already but I’m glad someone took the time to examine the entire house and not just the one issue I was having. We had then not only waterproof the outside wall but also fill the expansion joints in our patio and seal one basement window as well as re-point some mortar joints in the brink chimney. When the crew came they went to work. They also did an admirable job protecting our plants. An old section of of a 6' high stockade fence had to be removed and I bough a new section and the crew was happy to put that up. When they water tested the wall they found a small leak. They re-did the sealant and that did the trick. Randy came out and supervised critical parts of the job. He was great to work with and happily fixed a few small things at the end. Randy really cares about doing the job right. I am 100% pleased with the work they did. I watched over much of the repair and everything was done correct and by the book. Overall I can't say enough about how pleased I was with Chamberlin-Washington and their work. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone."

"Craig was the second contractor out of three to come to conduct a free inspection of my basement. I contacted his company for services after  I noticed water coming through holes in the cinder blocks of my basement unfinished wall created by the prior owner having a closet system installed in this area. What attracted me to his company Initially was the personable service portrayed by his website and with speaking with him. I had already pressumed that the sump pump didn't work correctly and the basement needed to be sealed properly due to me noticing a lot of insects and snake skin in this area. Of course I learned it was worse than I thought. The difference with this company service compared to the other compainies that I had come to conduct an inspection was very noticeable. When Craig came  to my home he asked me questions to get a perspective of what issues I was really dealing with. Being that I had only been the owner of my home for a year I could only suspect what the issues were. Yet, Craig immediately took a look at the sump pump and showed me that it was definietly not properly working. He also observed all four walls and the current water drain system in place and explain how it was doing nothing for releasing the water pressure in the walls. (The first contractor I had didn't touch a thing!) Craig also listened to my concerns of the house potentially not being properly sealed and advised that he should conduct a inspection of exterior as well. Craig was the only contractor that took the information I provided and showed me how the water tracks on the wall displayed that as I suspected, the exterior was not properly sealed and was allowing water to flow over the wall and not just the holes in the motor joints of the wall. I was told adamantly by first contractor that my issue would be resolved by installing the water drain system to the interior of the house only. But as Craig showed during the performance of the work, my floor board to the basement had rotted away and created a hole to allow water (and the snake) directly into the unfinished basement area. I am greatly satisfied with work performed by Craig and his crew. Since the work has been performed I have not seen a trickle of water in my basement! Additionally, I have to say it was great to have familiar face appear with the crew, in that Craig (whom is also the owner) was in attendance of the work being performed and supervised the entire process. I admit that this display of work ethic reaffirmed to me that the job was being done right! I believe that I was given a fair price for the work and got even more. I was quoted at a $1000.00 more with the first contractor and that was just for the interior drain system on the front wall! I am certain that I went with the right company and that my water issues have certainly been solved. Thanks Craig to you and your crew; and a wonderful job well done! <br />"
