"Bruce arrived to start the job on time and is quite methodical, with everything going in the right order. He has the tools to do ANYTHING and completely filled our 2 car garage with tools, materials, cabinets, etc. Since everything was replaced, he had to use skills on so many levels, including dry wall, insulation, flooring, electrical, plumbing, granite work, painting, heating, etc. I think he truly excels at molding/trim work and the cabinet installing. Perfection. An example of true attention to detail: Since they had to cut into our floor joists (beneath the bathroom) to accommodate new drain systems, Bruce took it upon himself to find a local metal fabricator to create steel U-shaped supports so that our floor remained as strong as before. Some people would have left that out.... He wanted things to be correct and often asked for our approval...making any changes we requested along the way. He is approachable. He had a great, professional introduction the first day we met and proposed a budget. Why we did not give Bruce all A's---and if there is any down side---it would be a rather severe minimizing of the total amount of time needed for the project. As a builder, he is hard to fault in that we did stick to our agreed budget and if he was working for weeks beyond the planned completion time...well, it was not costing us any more. I believe Bruce to be a very honest person and understand that any building project has delays. Toward the end, as another project became reality, I believe Bruce lost some focus here. That said, we are happy with our finished bathroom and make a positive recommendation. Your Designs LLC can be trusted. ((I am having trouble porting over pictures...sorry...if I can add them later, I will. For now, I can say I think it looks just as we planned...and this company delivered!))"

"<p>He is a hard worker who is focused on doing the job correctly.  We first called him at about 9 am to ask if he could come over to look at some work involving gutter cleaning and repair.  By 1 pm the same day the job was done to our satisfaction.  He put a lot of effort into the work (which involved multiple trips up and down a tall extension ladder) and being sure that we were pleased with the outcome.  His price was very fair.  He is also personable and easy to talk with.  We definitely will call him again for future Handyman work.</p> <br />"

"Don't have anything to compare to but he seemed knowledgable. Prompt. Cleaned up after work. <br /> <br /> I feel this is a tricky service as he did say we have had chimney fires in the past based on what he could see/detect when cleaning our chimney. We have not noticed anything like that and use our fireplace (wood burning) all the time in the winter. This is scary! Not sure about our next step with regards to repair as this person just recommended that we and quot;keep an eye on itand quot; and get chimney serviced once a year."

Unfortuately, in the meantime, we had contacted another 'handyman' service that was on Angie's List and ended up going with that person. But it was a tough decision, actually a toss-up.
