"We needed our roof repaired after wind damage and after reading multiple customer referrals, we decided to go with Hart Family construction and we couldn't be happier!!! We've had horrible experiences in the past with contractors for other projects on our home, so we were very nervous about finding a contractor for our roof. Not only did he and his crew do an excellent job with our roof but they were very respectful of our home and property.  They cleaned up our yard and even picked up garbage and debris that they didn't have anything to do with. Wow!!!!

We learned the hard way what to look for in a contractor and Todd Hart met every positive criteria on our checklist. He’s fully licensed & insured; guarantees his work with a 5 year workmanship warranty; provides a written contract; has years of experience;  has a slew of happy customers (including us now!!);  is honest, dependable, friendly and extremely patient. I drilled him with questions on our first meeting and he patiently answered every one.  I even tried to stump him because I knew what to look for from past bad experiences, and he passed every single test with flying colors.  His prices where not the lowest that we received from all the bids, but they were certainly fair. We made the mistake of going with the lowest bidder before on another home project and we definitely got what we paid for and boy did we pay for it! (Lessons learned).

He made the entire process extremely easy. He worked directly with our insurance adjuster and our claim was approved! Whoo hoo! Todd knows what to look for during his inspections that others could have easily missed.

So, as you can see, we highly recommend Hart Family Construction.  If you want the peace of mind that you’ll get quality workmanship, fair prices and guaranteed work, contact Hart Family Construction for all your home repair/remodeling and roofing needs. You will not be sorry.  We’re recommending them to all our friend and family!"

FAQs for sunroom or patio enclosure building service projects in Fulton, MS

A sunroom is a fully enclosed space with walls of windows or glass. It allows you to enjoy the outdoors from the comfort of the indoors, protected from bugs and weather. It functions as an additional room in your home. A covered patio extends your home's roof over an outdoor area, providing shade and shelter while remaining open to the fresh air. It's a great way to enjoy outdoor living while being protected from sun and rain.

Adding screens to your porch is the most budget-friendly way to enclose it. Screening keeps out insects and debris while letting you enjoy the breeze and outdoor ambiance. It's less expensive than installing full walls or glass enclosures and doesn't usually require permits, making it an efficient way to upgrade your porch.

If you're transforming your porch into a fully enclosed living space like a sunroom, you'll likely need a sturdy foundation, such as a reinforced concrete slab, to support the structure. For a simple screened-in porch, you might be able to use the existing floor and support posts without additional foundation work. It's best to consult a professional to determine what's needed for your project.

An enclosed porch can be considered a living space if it's fully enclosed with solid walls and windows, has a proper roof, and includes heating and cooling systems. It should also have direct access from inside your home. When these criteria are met, the space becomes an extension of your home's livable area.
