"This guy really is a true handyman.  I had called other handyman, in Gainesville, that was listed on Angie's list to see if they would be willing to do some repair of blinds and place new set of blinds....they all offered some excuses 1 type or another and 1 said that he would do it, and then call me the next day at 7am and say I don't feel comfortable doing it and get the blinds company to do it...and they are expensive and not only that, they too didn't care 1 bit about trying to set up a time to repair the blinds..they said over the phone" oh sure we can repair that, but never returned call to set up time....don't ever use GATOR BLINDS. anyway, this guy was great, and he was persistent.  I, initially, felt he may not be able to do the job and this was going to be a waste of my time, but he showed up and went to work on the task of doing the repair of the blinds.  I don't know if alot of handyman do blinds repair and that's why I was not able to get anybody or if this is not worth their time as can't charge much.  Anyway, Lew came over and helped to repair the large vertical blinds I had and i was able to open and close them, and he repaired the rope lever that helps to pull them down.  He then placed 2 new bedroom blinds for me and told me how to get them cut at Home Depot and installed them for me.  He then repaired a latch on yard gate which was not a big deal.  He is a big talker so beware of that.  But I really give this guy alot of credit in that he was the only one who responded to my need and showed a persistence and competenance that is really missing from alot of contractors nowadays and his price was WELL BELOW market value that I felt he was undercharging and gave him a little extra for his work....believe that he was undercharging, the guy was here for a good 8 hours and with everything he did, only charged me $75.    He is willing to tackle on any tasks that is warranting a handyman service and will give it at the very least a very honest attempt.  He's definitely a bit olderand at times, I was kinda concerned if he is able to finish the tasks but he does bring alot of experience with him.  I really felt that I needed to put this review about this guy out there because it really turned out to be a positive experience we had with him."
