"John Crain, the owner, personally walked us through the whole process, from bid to finish, including daily phone updates if we didn't cross paths on the site. Honestly, their bid and amount of work seemed to good to be true, but after checking with Angie's List, the BBB, several state and local offices and references, everything checked out him. John simply seems to be from a different era in that he was always completely honest and did everything he said he would, plus more. The total amount did go over bid, but only because things went so well on the site, he offered a few other touches for very reasonable amounts such as adding new topsoil, laying landscaping plastic, and installing decorative rock. Furthermore, John left everything surplus on the site that we asked for if they didn't use it (topsoil, rock, etc.). With my experience, I'd highly recommend Crain over any others. We had six other bids and Crain did twice as much work for half as much money (bids from $5,000-$25,000)."
