"I needed to swap my security camera network out for a new one, and had some specific requirements that Iâ  d compiled from several years of experience with using security cameras. Efficient Communication Solutions responded quickly to my request for information on the services they provide. Don, one of the co-owners, visited and listened carefully to my wish-list for a new system. We went through many options and configurations and found one that met my needs for a reasonable price for the equipment and installation. The two-person crew who did the actual installation were great. James and Jacob came prepared, did top notch work with installing all the cabling and cameras, all while being a delight to work with. There were no corners cut, no sloppy work, they paid careful attention to details, and the final result is a neat, professional installation. The NVR configuring was completed and tested, and they explained the settings and usage clearly. The scheduling of the installation was less than 2 weeks out after signing a contract and the work was done in just over 3 days. I want to also mention that James and Jacob were very careful when around my cats, not letting them outside, and not scaring or disturbing them. Their efforts were greatly appreciated. On a scale of 1 to 10, the work ECS did on this system was a solid 10. There is a catio/sunroom project in the works, and after itâ  s completed, I will be using ECS to install additional cameras around the new structure - no question about who I will call to do the work."

We treat you and your home with respect and clean up when we are finished. Mr. Handyman technicians are experienced with a broad skill set, so please do not hesitate to ask for help with any repair, maintenance or improvement project. Office is closed on Saturday and Sunday, however, we are available for Saturday work.

The original over-oven microwave install was done poorly, causing a headache in fixing the errors, yet John did not cut any corners. He also checked in about every detail to be sure we were comfortable with what was happening. He listened to our concerns about how poorly the previous fan had been working and made an extra effort to be sure the vent opened very wide for maximum venting. We also asked when booking that the technician wear a mask and John arrived and wore an N95 the whole 4 hours with no fuss. This was our first experience with Mr. Handyman and if all the other technicians are as good as John then we will be using them exclusively from now on. John is like the fix-it dad you wished lived in your same town."

Wired CCTV systems on a two-story home usually take the longest to complete, while wireless camera systems on single-story homes take the least.
The best places to install security cameras outside your home include the areas potential intruders may target. These areas include the front door, first-floor windows, back door, and driveway. Consider using either hidden cameras or floodlight-equipped cameras to enhance security.
Install indoor security cameras at main points of entry, such as patio, balcony, or garage entrances. Be considerate of privacy by informing your household where cameras are located.
Not all security cameras need WiFi. Many cameras receive power through ethernet cables, known as Power-over-Ethernet. These cables work as the internet connection, data transfer cable, and power cable when plugged into specified surveillance cameras.
