"Good, quick work. The driveway looks good. They had to move heavy landscaping boulders, take out a tree, and put in a drain to keep water out of the garage. No problems with any of that. The latter didn't completely work, but not because of anything wrong with the work they did. The water is still coming under the garage door because the existing garage slab is apparently not graded correctly. They didn't say they could fix that in particular. Also, they smoothed the transition out to the street, which is nice. But, in doing so, they filled in the rain gutter that runs down the side of the road, so water collects at the end of the drive. I should have realized that would happen, but it's a little annoying. These are minor issues, though, and the work is high quality, was done promptly, and was accomplished without much of any oversight by me. I really appreciated that. Though the whole job it was pricey, he charged me exactly what he quoted."

"Sanders and Sons did an excellent job on our chimney repair. Tim was meticulous in his work and the finished product reflects that. Beyond that, his kindness and care while working in less than ideal conditions was stellar! Scaffolding had to be installed on decking and steps that our blind dog needed to use to get to the yard. Tim took extra time and used extra materials to make her a safe route out of the house. He is an absolutely lovely man to work with, and I recommend his company to anyone who needs masonry work."

"They submitted a plan.  I had no clue what I wanted or needed in my spot and relied on them to make the professional decisions.  The weather put their arrival date back to get to me. When they did come, the owners that I met with came initially but left the job to a crew.  I came to the crew a couple of times to talk initially and ask about landscape fabric, etc and then to offer drinks. And when they finished, they left without a good bye, this is what you do (when to water, how much, this is your *___* and how to care for it...nothing. So I was a bit disappointed in that.  Also, I specifically said I needed dwarf material close to the house so I hope I get that as the years go on.  The product did not have a good fall-leaves started falling off early and nothing ever bloomed.  Was told it was due to the late installation, mid summer.

"On the Go's crews did a good job. Not everything was perfect from start to finish, but the mark of someone good to work with is that if something isn't how you want it, you talk about with them, they listen, and then they make it right. I am very happy with the end result. The best advice I can give someone considering this company is to have a little patience and don't expect that everything is always going to go according to schedule... the weather and other factors outside your contractor's control often will set things back. The important thing, in my opinion is to end up with a finished product that matches your intent and lasts. This review is being written a couple weeks after the work was completed, so I can't speak to the longevity of the work, but I got everything that I was looking for and don't see any reason that it won't last. One of the delays in my job was due to weather, and maybe some contractors would have gone ahead with work even if conditions were not ideal, but Shaun explained why due to rain the previous day we needed to wait to perform the pour, and I was fine with the delay... I don't doubt that it was the right choice. I also contacted 6 concrete contractors over a 1 year period (3 never returned my calls / texts, and one was almost twice as much) and this company was the best deal."

"We hired A & R Contracting for a master bedroom closet renovation. They removed the old, outdated, ventilated wire shelving and installed new, custom-built loading shelves. They built the shelves off-site to help with the project efficiency. They did a beautiful job. Not to mention, they are very good working with the many surprises that come with the terrain of a 1930's home where nothing is plumb. Everything had to be customized to fit properly. They worked tirelessly to ensure I was satisfied with all the details of the shelving unit, such as building lips on the shelving edges, down to the quarter round molding. I really appreciated their professionalism and collaboration around the project details. They strive for the highest quality and take great pride in their work. They are very reasonable and their goal is to get the job done right. They have a strong work ethic and stand by their work. They have also installed both interior and exterior doors for us.
