"Two years ago Riley Plumbing and Heating replaced the corroded galvanized water pipe from the street meter to my house, so I was very surprised to have another water leak in the back yard last month. Riley Plumbing came out again, and found that the new leak was due to another corroded galvanized pipe that was supplying water to the back yard irrigation system. They replaced this pipe, tying the water supply to the irrigation system to the water line they installed two years ago. Mike Rojas, Luis Ortiz and Aiden did the work in a professional manner, and left the back yard in good shape for re-seeding this fall. (Hopefully no more corroded pipes in my yard!) "

"The person performing the service had to make several trips because one of the "new" parts turned out to be faulty. I found both Complete Protection and their local repair contractor to be both very responsive and totally professional at every stage of the repair process."

"The two man crew was hard working and knowledgeable. The repairs have held so far. Both crew and office were easy to work with. There was a disconnect between the office and the crew as to what work was to be done. They exceeded the scope of work, but I was able to negotiate a settlement. They charged a lot for materials. For example, they wanted $1800 for the pump; I found an identical unit for $800. I would use them again, but make sure there is a very clear understanding of what is to done and what it will cost.

"The contractor removed one tank containing filtering media the added a larger one with a media that was sufficient for the iron content that had to be removed.  He further adjusted the system and corrected the water flow and backwash cycle.   Other tanks were cleaned along with the flow valve for proper functioning. The contractor was in and out in four hours using two workers that were both polite and competent. Everything was cleaned up and was left in better shape than when they arrived. From the time they put the new system on line our water has been perfect.  We are so happy after several contractors worked on our system for 10 years and none of them has gotten it right.
WE RECOMMEND THIS CONTRACTOR TO ANYONE WITH BAD DRINKING WATER!"

"The valves were replaced and a leak in the line running from the house to the pasture faucet was repaired. After all repairs were completed and Neil went to another job, he came back later to test the repair to the pasture pipe before recommending turning on the water to the pasture. I was impressed with his follow through."

FAQs for sump pump repair or replace projects in Twin-bridges, CA

Sump pumps last about 10 years with proper maintenance and prompt repairs. Several factors can influence your sump pump’s lifespan, such as usage, environmental conditions, and installation. Premium sump pumps with heavy-duty motors and quality components tend to last longer than lower-cost models. Pedestal sump pumps usually last longer than submersible models since they’re not constantly exposed to water.

A basement French drain is a drainage system installed in basements or around a building’s foundation to redirect water and prevent flooding. This system features a trench with a perforated pipe that catches and transports water away. These systems can crack, freeze, or clog, potentially resulting in flooding or strain on your sump pump.

You can use a sump pump in your yard to minimize pooling water and landscape damage, but it’s best used in conjunction with other drainage systems. This can include French drains, trench drains, underground downspouts, and other equipment. Proper lawn care, such as soil aeration and native plants, also aids with drainage.
