"Marquis Tree Service was great from start to finish on this big job. John Marquis came out to scope the work, calculated the price on the spot, and tagged the trees that needed to be removed. A few trees were within the wetland buffer zone, so John wrote an excellent, detailed letter to our Conservation Commission to get approval for the removal. I had to be out of town the day they were scheduled to take down the 13 tall pines near our house, and I was worried about not being there to deal with issues, but John assured me all would be well. He called me that morning before they started the job, called me during the job to discuss taking down one more tree that hadn't been tagged initially, and confirmed when the work was done. I expected some damage to the lawn or driveway, but when I got home the only evidence that the crews had been there was the missing trees. I've used two other tree services over the past 20 years, and Marquis wins. They have the right equipment for the biggest jobs, the office staff is responsive, the crews work carefully and efficiently, the owner knows his stuff (he holds degrees in forestry and is a certified arborist), and (surprisingly) their price was competitive. I'd trust them with the biggest/trickiest jobs."

"David (the owner) was very professional. He knocked on my door and spoke with me about some branches he noticed over my roof. I had been thinking about getting the trees trimmed anyway so I let him give me an estimate. I decided to also get a few trees removed that had been bothering me. He suggested trimming the lower branches of a couple other trees. He was very knowledgeable about trees in general and gave me a few options in terms of work and payment.
At first I was hesitant to work with him as he looked fairly young. He said he has been doing this for about 10 years and just recently started his own company. Based on his knowledge of the profession and the quality of work done I'd say that seems accurate.
He showed up when he said he would and did a wonderful job. Overall I was very happy with the work.

"Two days ago during a storm, a huge pine tree fell on our shed and blocked our driveway. i called New England Tree Masters right away because I had used their service before and were very happy with them. "It went very smoothly. I appreciate that Stephen is very prompt, professional, and reliable. I think Stephen may be priced slightly higher than others doing this work, but on the other hand, he was prompt to get in touch, he was eager to get the job done, and, unlike many of his peers, he treated my property as if it was his, meaning a) he cleaned up and b) it was very thorough.  I feel like I paid a little more for peace of mind.

I can't imagine Stephen getting any complaints. I highly recommend him. "
