I wanted to replace the rubber stripping on the bottom of the garage door and he was on time and performed the repair while giving me helpful tips about keeping mice out of my garage using shavings of Irish Spring Soap on a sticky mouse trap pad placed on either side of garage door floor inside. The 2nd call was for the opener that was malfunctioning continuously. Gus, Oscar's brother, came out yesterday and walked me thru the test and fix. He noticed that one spring was smaller than the other creating a weight imbalance. He replaced both springs that match, straightened out the sensors and showed me how to oil the hinges of door every 4 months. I highly recommend the Ortiz company. These guys know their stuff!"

"John promptly returned my call and we set up an appointment for the next morning to have him take a look at my garage door opener which was not working correctly.  John was able to figure out immediately what was wrong and got the opener working in about 5 minutes.  Since it was such an easy fix he helped me reprogram my opener and also serviced the garage door.  He noticed that when the door was manually lifted it was quite heavy.  He asked me if I had the spring replaced recently and I said yes...about a couple of years ago.  He adjusted the spring and then oiled all the hinges.  Great job.  Highly recommend John for the great work.

"Woke up to a broken spring on one of our garage doors.  Called Xpress and arranged a time for him to come out (on a Sunday)  Ron arrived and fixed the spring,  He inspected our door and suggested a couple of repairs/upgrades.  Once completed our garage door sounded like a brand new door and was amazingly quiet with the new rollers he installed.  Highly Recommend!!!

"Garage door spring broken and opener stopped working. Called office, they where responsive and came out the next day. Repair man was polite and professional and workmanship was great. He spent approximately two hours replacing the springs and gears in the opener. When complete the price seemed high for two springs and a plastic gear replacement. The parts could not have cost that much and for two hours of labor it seemed excessive. My fault, I should have shopped and compared them to others on price before agreeing to work just to keep them honest. I felt they would be fair based on the Angie's list ratings. I am a contractor myself and $425.00 for two hour of labor, two three foot metal springs and a plastic gear are excessive. I only have one price for all customers who price me before or trust me to be fair. Good quality but get other estimates first, it is a commodity repair."
