"I have been contracting with Frank for over four (4) years. Frank is professional, knowledgeable and courteous. Frank has good attention to detail.  He treats my house and my projects as if it was his own house. He is respectful of my belongings and my house, cleans up after himself, and complete projects on time. He uses estimates, has open communication and discussion, arrives on time, and completes projects as agreed to. Frank?s estimates are fair. He explains the options available and the cost of each one. Frank makes a recommendation. If I do not want the recommended option, and ask for a different one, Frank will proceed with what I want (which I appreciate). Additionally, Frank will tell me if something is out side of his knowledge or if he is unable to do something.  Frank discusses potential estimate changes with me prior to proceeding.  Additionally, there are times when the actual services are less than the estimate, because Frank says it took less time than he anticipated. I also contract with Frank for a block of time for various maintenance and ?honey-do? items which need to be completed at my house.Frank has worked on various projects at my house, including: <br />  -       House renovation ? in 2013-2014 Frank completed a renovation of my house - see below, including rip out old carpet, install hard wood floors in entire house, install floor board, painting, demolition of wall, build counter, etc. <br /> -       Flooring - Frank installed hard wood flooring in my entire ranch house. Frank discussed various flooring patterns with me, and took the time to draw it out so I would understand what I would be getting.  He attended to all details.  <br />  -       Stain wood / installation - During this project Frank also stained and installed the floor board. He has a good eye for color and was able to find a complementary color for the floor board. He also worked well with the contractors that did my stairs. Frank sanded and stained all the wood for the stair work. <br /> -       Demolition/ New Design - Frank tore down part of a wall between my kitchen and my dining room. This opened up the entire house. During this project Frank not only completed demolition, he built up a good a counter on the remaining half wall, with granite tiles and wood stained to match the rest of my kitchen. Frank has a good eye for balance and attention to detail. The new counter has angle and corners, which Frank took the time to cut right, line up, and make it look perfect. <br /> -       Painting/Patching - During this project Frank also patched and repainted my entire house, touched up framing and other wood work and made my house look brand new! <br /> -       Installation - installed brand new lighting fixtures, installed a California closet, installed wood vents in the floor,-       Installation of new dishwasher <br /> -       Fixing rusty fire place <br /> -       House Energy Efficiency ? Frank has completed basement and vent work to ensure that my house is tight and running efficiently. <br />  -       Works well with others ? During my large house renovation Frank work with various other contractors. He was able to coordinate with them regarding timing of the project as well as on-site hours. Additionally Frank brought other people to my house to assist with various work. All of the men that work with Frank are professional and courteous. Frank oversees their work to make sure it meets his standards. <br />  -       Skylights - I have skylights that seem to be a never ending source of issue. Frank has completed research, met with paint store folks, and talked to others to work to find solutions to my various skylight issues.  <br /> -       ?Honey-do? list -  No job is too small for Frank, including, assemble chairs, assemble and place book cases and racks, moving furniture, fixing appliances (dishwasher, wash machine, oven), removing dead bats from outside vent, checking roof, cleaning gutters, cutting down dead tree limbs, painting shutters and vents, power washing siding, various garage door fixes, etc."
