"I recently bought a mountain cabin and discovered some challenges with water: the cabin is located in an area with a lot of streams and water flow, which can lead to flooding in the crawlspace. The land immediately surrounding the cabin had poor grading, leading water straight towards the foundation, where it was trapped with nowhere to go. I reached out to Jim at Riggs Landscaping to solicit help regrading the property. From initial contact through project completion, I was extremely impressed with Jim and his crew. Jim quickly came out in the Fall to take a look, offering suggestions for regrading the area around the house. Gutters in the back of the house went into corrugated plastic piping in the ground, which appeared to be clogged somewhere. In addition to regrading, Jim offered to replace the pipes in the ground. He initially suggested using corrugated plastic pipes, but I suggested upgrading to solid PVC, and he was happy to adapt his quote to accommodate that request. It was too late in the season to begin the work, but Jim stayed in touch with me over the winter and answered my questions. Then, once spring arrived on the mountain, we set a date for the work, which took three days. Jim was on site doing the work himself with two hard working crew members. They carefully regraded the lot, installing four new runs of 4" PVC pipe from the gutter downspouts into the woods. The property is very rocky, which increased the difficulty of the work, but he brought sufficient equipment to handle the job. Several heavy rainstorms later, the regrading is making a big difference, allowing water in the backyard to flow away from the house and into the woods. It was a pleasure working with Jim and I won't hesitate to use his company for future projects. The work was completed on time, was priced reasonably, and the final price matched the estimate. I strongly recommend Riggs Landscaping!"

"Great company! Archer Contractors previously solved a difficult drainage problem and foundation leak so we called them back again. We had foundation problems and needed a new basement stairwell. The old stairwell was unusable, and basement walls were bowing. They proposed a new basement stairwell, a drainage system and foundation repairs. What really stands out with Archer is the quality of engineering and workmanship they put into their projects. Everything heavily reinforced and looked like industrial quality. Attention was tops. Pleasant crew left things neat start to finish. They even installed a new entry door and frame. The structural repairs have eased our concerns about the foundation. Several storms later and the drain functions perfectly, with not a drop of water in our home."

"The jobs took a few days in total. We had them do 2 phases to our project. They were pretty much on time and did exactly what we wanted. Shannon was very professional and helpful. We will probably be using them to do the rest of our front area in the spring. I would recommend them to anyone. <br />"

"Chris arrived on time. He performed a full landscape spring clean out which included cleaning of all our beds, adding 12 yards of mulch, and edged over 400 linear feet. Chris does all our landscaping maintenance and our winter plowing. He is always respnsive to our needs, communicates his intent prior to arriving, as well as submits a written quote for all work. He is always professional and respectful of our yard and belongings in it. <br />"

"Well, the company did not replace the large tree that bloomed. They fired the best man they had...horticulturist. AND they started doing a poorer and poorer job of "maintenance" even though they took my money every month. I finally switched. And am happier for it."

"Ba.sed on the reviews of Gardens Remembered, I wanted to hire the company to landscape my front yard. Steve quickly informed me that, given the large size of my garden, his company was not the most suitable one for the job. GR maintains gardens, and landscapes smaller ones. I was very pleased Steve did not waste either my time or money. He was quite friendly, and a few days later Gabrielle emailed me the names of landscaping companies that would be more suitable. This simplified my life, and I plan to invite GR to maintain my garden once it is landscaped. Steve and Gabrielle are honest, respectful, and easy to work with. I recommend them highly. <br />"
