".From the moment I called until the job was done by Anthony Lauer, it was professional. I emailed a service request, received a call within an hour, was told I would have a service person out within the week and the approximate cost. Anthony did a great job. It actually took less time than expected and he applied two coats of paint to the powder room. He also hung an antique mirror along with the new towel rack and toilet paper holder. He cleaned up after everything was done and I can actually close the cabinet door properly for the first time in two years. We were going to replace the outside light but I purchased the wrong size. He removed the lights, bought bronze spray paint and painted the old lights which look like new. They would have had to be special ordered but that saved me a lot of money. I will definitely use them again and am making a list now as to what I want done next."

"Regarding the first job to replace the shower door rollers, David called me the night before to confirm what was needed and said he would call me the next morning when he was on his way. He arrived on time and immediately got to work. Because of the design of the shower door assembly, Dave had to remove both doors and since I had already purchased replacement roller wheels, I decided to replace all the roller wheels on both doors. The doors now work perfectly. The second time I called was to fix the casement window in my living room. The lock handle broke off with the window in the locked position. I spoke to Daniel McElreavey to set up an appointment and was told he doesn't do work in Philadelphia, but he had a handyman he works with and would relay my problem to him. He said he was meeting up with the handyman in about 1/2 hour that same day and told me to email him pictures of the window and lock, which I did. I never heard back from either Daniel or the handyman and that is why I gave such a low rating."

"I recently had my house painted on the outside, second floor. W N estimate was the lowest and the most reasonable. We set up a date and W N staff of 3 men came and completed the job which included scraping, priming and painting. A few days later I noticed a very small part which I failed to notify them that I wanted painted. I text Westley and he asked me to send a picture, which I did. He apologized because it was not painted which was unnecessary since it was totally my fault. The very next day his crew arrived and fixed my problem without charging me extra. I was so impressed with this company that I asked for 2 more estimates for my daughter and me. Westley was so professional and wanted only that I was happy with the job. His staff was polite, efficient and cleaned up without leaving a trace. I appreciated the fact that this company got back to me immediately whenever I called. I would recommend this company without any hesitation."

"Dan and his son did a great job repairing a damaged plaster wall. The wall looks new! They also removed a wall/window AC unit and installed window, complete with beautiful new trim around the window. They had to remove siding and cut through the exterior wall of the house to enlarge the opening for the new window. The finished job looks beautiful."

They didn't leave until the job was done to their high standards even if it meant coming back to finish some touch up paint. They also built a small balcony on the back of my house and when there wasn't any railing that would look good they built it themselves. On top of all of this their customer service is some of the best I have ever dealt with. I am so thankful I chose Simpson's Painting and Repairs for my balcony to be built and house painted. "Dave and his coworker did an EXCELLENT job installing the dining room chandelier. He was on time and cleaned up after he completed the installed. He explained everything in detail - materials, effort, and the potential additional requirements.  I will ring him again for other projects in my home. Please note: The original review I wrote was completely inaccurate, I had the services confused. Before I contracted with Dave to install the chandelier, I worked with another Handyman outfit to install my kitchen lights, it was a nightmare. I had the service names confused. Again, I am thankful to Dave for installing the dining room chandelier, it looks gorgeous!
