"Michael Presley came by and looked at some cords that had been pulled down by maybe a squirrel or some critter. He reattached the cords to my house for a very reasonable amount. I was able to meet him and talk to him about future jobs."

"Brad and his entire team were great to work with. From the beginning, they came out quickly for an estimate and got us on the schedule in a timely manner. Then, they completed all the required work in a three day period. The painters did a great job with the work itself but also with cleaning up after themselves. Brad even came by our house the day they were finishing up to check in and make sure we were happy with the work they did. Would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs their house painted!"

"We had three bids for the drywall cracks we wanted repaired. Bid were close but we chose Ayobi Contractors. Mr. Ali came and did the work in two days. The paint matched perfectly and know you cannot see where the cracks were. We also had him do some work in the bathroom. First rate. We give him the highest rating. Thank you Mr. Ali."

FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in Universal City, TX

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
