"We searched for a long time to find the right landscaping company to work in our backyard. We had a need that was easy to explain, but we were open to what that solution was. Wayside came out, drew pictures to make sure I understood what was being done, asked me if I liked one option more than another, and then executed the drawing perfectly! They took an 8 by 50 foot mud puddle and turned it into a landscape masterpiece that allows proper water flow. "This work took place eleven months ago, but that gives us the ability to say that everything Kurt’s team planted looks great and is growing nicely, except one bush that is struggling, which Kurt agreed to replace without hesitation. We have been in our house for 22 years, and finally got around to replacing the crummy landscaping and walkway the developer put in. Distinct Landscapes installed a paver walkway, and a complete set of bushes, flowers and a crape myrtle tree. The work was done very well and within budget, and the crew distinguished itself by how well they cleaned up the site. The spacing between plantings to allow for future growth seems perfect. Most of all we like Kurt. He is low-key and friendly, offers solid, knowledgeable opinions when asked, and never applies any sort of sales pressure.
