"This is a second time I hired Lazaro because he did a superb job on pavement. This time, a bit hesitating to call him because it's landscaping work rather than hardscaping. However they did a great job removing weeds, adding top soil and planting sod and bushes with mulch on front yard. On side yard, they removed weeds, added top soil and planted seeds. I like his prompt response, reliability and commitment. They have a solid work habit. Strongly recommend."

"Kurt (Distinct Landscapes) performed an exception makeover to our property. We have owned our home for 20 years, with an eye on a landscape design to the house front - that pops. What we inherited were azaleas and christmas trees that continued to grow more expansive over the years. I provided Kurt with my budget and blessing to take the necessary design/purchase/installation steps necessary to dazzle. He did not disappoint! Kurt was a joy to work with, paying several visits to our property to discuss proposed layout and educate newcomers concerning the finer points of horticulture - in laymen's terms. "After finding Tillerman Gardens online and requesting an estimate for substantial hardscape/landscape work on our newly renovated house, we were pleasantly surprised to find out that Jesse, the owner, actually grew up in our neighborhood! On top of being a Takoma Park local, and an all around friendly, honest, business owner, we also came to learn that he does great work as well! His team completely transformed our hardscape areas, including installing a beautiful flagstone walkway and patio, a perfectly graded cement driveway, iron railings on our steps, and plants in a number of locations. On top of that, some of the work required some touch up and sealing and Jesse and his team have come out a couple of times later this spring to do that work unprompted. There's a little bit left, but I know they'll be around to finish it as they've taken care of us every step of the way. Even better, everything was done in budget. Look no further! "I hired East Coast Landscape Design to take care of a sump pump drainage problem under my deck, as well as install a stone patio under the deck. They did a wonderful job with both. Mark designed the project and answered any questions I had. He provided all the necessary information and design plans to obtain approval for the project from my homeowners association. Katie was very helpful with scheduling, billing and answering gereral questions. Roberto and crew did a great job installing the patio and cleaning up afterwards. The patio looks great and the drainage issue has been taken care of. I wold definitely hire them again and/or recommend them to a friend."
