"I have a large and long circular driveway, and it needs to be repaved. I contacted a few reputable pavers for quotes but didn’t receive any calls back. Therefore, I conducted more research. Seal Right came up on the screen with good reviews, so I gave it a call. Anthony answered my call right away and would come over to discuss my project with me when he got a break from his work in progress, and he was here a couple of hours later. Anthony understood everything what my specifications were and concluded that it would be an Asphalt paving project and promised that he would fulfil my expectations. "Really displeased with my experience dealing with APS in Prescott, AZ. Poor communication, inconsiderate, and unreliable. They came by my business offering a discounted resurface for the parking lot with leftover material from a nearby job. Long story short, I accepted to move forward with the deal but they never showed up. At first it was fine; I was told their current job hit a snag and they'd have to come do our parking lot the next morning. The next day at about 1pm, I get a call saying they should be there shortly and have it done soon. I waited until 5pm and after several attempts at contacting, they never returned my calls or answered my messages or showed up. What an absolutely insane way to treat someone. They completely ditched me. It's been over a week now and they've still made no effort at contacting me with an explanation. I had my parking lot blocked off for 1.5 days waiting for them and watched several would-be customers pull in and then leave when there was no parking space for them. As far as I am concerned, APS is little more than a shameful menace to the community. There are a lot of other people who will pave for you. Have one of them do it instead of APS."

Asphalt paving repairs or patches FAQs
With routine maintenance, a new residential asphalt driveway can last 15 to 20 years. In regions with heavy rain or freeze-thaw cycles, plan on extra maintenance to hit the upper end of that range. Concrete surfaces last even longer, from 20 to 25 years. Regular sealing and quick crack repairs go a long way toward preserving both materials.
You can pour new concrete over an existing driveway as long as the base slab is solid. Pros often place a three- to four-inch overlay to create a strong bond. If the old concrete is cracked or spalling badly, it’s wiser to remove it and start fresh to ensure durability.
Keep the surface in top shape by sealing it on schedule and tackling damage right away. Roll on a quality seal coat every three years for asphalt, and reseal concrete as needed while patching any flaws you spot.
