"Alex (Dr. Fix) set up an appointment time for the same morning I called him. After having me describe the problem over the phone, he arrived with the parts he felt would solve it, but after checking everything on the washer, he determined that the "timer" needed replacing, which he did not have. He promptly tracked one down on his phone, went out and bought it, and returned in about an hour to fix the washer. Between diagnosing the problem, getting the part, and completing the repair, it took about 3 to 4 hours.His fee was very reasonable (the initial service call was only $35.00.) He showed me online what the cost of the part was (over $160.00!) that he was buying, so I felt confident that he was charging me the appropriate amount. He was very courteous and professional throughout the service call and I would not hesitate to call him again."

( after the end of the time frame)   I overlooked it and scheduled the repair.  The same thing happened on the day of the repair with no apologies.   It is a pet peeve of mine and it communicates to me that they think their time is more important than mine.
