"I was originally planning to get a wooden door, but Tony explained how much cheaper and easier it would be just to get a pre-hung metal door. He explained it would never need maintenance (as, of course, wood does), and all I'd ever have to do is just hose it down. None of the other people I interviewed for the job thought to suggest that, and one of them gave me an estimate of $1,500! I am very happy with the door; it's heavy-duty and looks just like wood. The one they sent spent most of his time talking and wasn’t organized. He took too long and could only finish about half of the things of the list. He also told me that he couldn’t use the product that I purchased for my sanded steps and told me to replace the lighting fixture rather than changing the bulbs. I would get everything in writing before working with them."

When I called to schedule the appointment, they got me on the schedule the following day. <br /> Roger, Dynamic's technician, was prompt, courteous, and thoroughly professional. He explained what he would be doing and looked into a couple of other issues I asked about, including the springs. He advised that the springs weren't up to snuff, and since I know they're 20 years old, that didn't surprise me. He explained that replacing the springs now would only add the cost of the springs (no extra labor charge) and when he only had one of the proper size on his truck he went out and got another within about 30 minutes. He completed the work in a timely manner and he left the garage floor cleaner than it was when he arrived. <br /> My thanks to Roger and the folks at Dynamic Garage Door. "My garage door came off its track and appeared to be bent beyond repair.  I called Joe Chavez Garage Doors and the repairman came that day.  He said the door was fixable and gave me a price quote.  My garage door was about 10 years old and I decided I wanted to replace it.  There was no pressure to upgrade my door from the repairman who was a very polite young man.  I selected a door style from a brochure and it was installed in a couple of days as promised.  I was very pleased with the new door but did notice that one of the "brackets" (not sure what the technical name is) was a little tilted.  It did not appear to affect the door operation.  Before I had a chance to call them Joe Chavez called me to see if I was happy with the door.  I told them about the bracket and they sent a technician out who fixed it in about 2 minutes.  I am pleased with all aspects of Joe Chavez Garage Doors and would gladly hire them again. <br />"
