I contacted HMR and asked that they provide me with an estimate to remove my existing chain-link fence and install a six foot vinyl privacy fence.  They showed up the same day and gave me, what I considered to be, a very reasonable price to perform the work and provide all the materials. (Much lower than the others)  So I chose HMR.

They scheduled me for the following Saturday.  They arrived at 7 a.m. as scheduled and were finished that afternoon.  I was very impressed with their knowledge and willingness to clean everything up afterwards.  If you're considering a new fence, I would definitely recommend these guys!

"Jeff and crew made a complicated, piece meal, remodel a breeze. They were prompt, attentive to details, cleaned up and "got 'er done!" They removed the popcorn, painted the ceilings, laid new floors, knocked out a wall, cased and railed the new stairs (inside and outside), put on a new roof, and installed a new French door, plus many other "little things" that came up along the way. "GCS did an excellent job executing a pretty complicated project. I would definitely recommend them to a friend. The bid that Dennis provided was very detailed and thorough. He came by several times to take measurements and ask questions about our intentions and goals for the project. He also had his electrical and HVAC subcontractors contact us to gather information about the project. It took about two weeks for the bid to be completed, which caused us to get a little impatient, but the final result was far more complete and thorough than any of the other bids we received. The cost was also very competitive. Work started soon after we signed the contract. Dennis did a very good job of coordinating the the tasks, including bringing the various subcontractors to the site in a timely manner, and within about 6 weeks we had the foundations poured and the basic framing done on the 8'x10' kitchen addition and the 16'x20' 1st floor bedroom/basement addition. Dennis' team were receptive to the changes to the plan (there will always be changes to the plan) that we asked for. The changes were documented, invoiced and priced reasonably. There was a lot of inside work to perform, so that took another 3 months or so. Insulation, drywalling, drywall finishing, carpet removal and installation, removal of the old kitchen cabinets and appliances, etc. Again, Dennis did a good job of scheduling the various specialists to come in and do their thing. Dennis was very responsive to any issues or concerns that came up through text messaging or by phone. Problems: Main issue was that the pace of work in the middle of the project was slower than we would have liked. This was mostly an issue with one individual worker. Overall: We are very happy with the results of the project and would recommend GCS highly. Attached picture is of the kitchen interior just prior to completion. It is exactly what we had envisioned."

"The project was delayed a few months due to all the rain and unforeseen circumstances but we weren't in any terrible rush so it wasn't a big deal; plus they were very nice about it and kept us up to date. The deck was done in PT wood with bronze balusters all around and the diagonal pattern on the floor and the landing. Conyers took only four days to take down the old deck and put up the new one and it looks FANTASTIC! They did such great work and such a reasonable price! Two of the people that worked on the construction, Matt Conyers and Josh made sure we had our questions answered and did a great job explaining what they were doing. I cannot say enough how courteous these two guys were as well as Larry Conyers, the owner.  When the project was finished, we had a few questions and the concerns were taken care of with no problem the very next day. I would recommend this company to a friend for sure and probably will have them do more work in the future. It is such a beautiful deck and turned out so much better that we could have imagined, especially since the diagonal floor pattern makes it look bigger!"
