"John, owner of JAW Construction, is a personable earnest contractor who goes beyond what is expected to make sure you are satisfied. He first replaced a laminate floor in the kitchen when we had a leak that ruined it. He found the leak--a punctured water supply line to the refrigerator and disconnected it, since the ice maker is non functional. He suggested a Luxury Vinyl floor (wood simulated) because it would not be damaged by water. The job was quick, expert, and very reasonably priced. So when we decided to replace worn and animal stained carpet with a wood or laminate floor last November, we called JAW. Again, John recommended a Luxury Tile Floor again because it would resist dog pee or cat hairball flem, if not noticed for a period of time. We went with Cortec again through a distributor John recommended and got a floor with the thickest clear wear protection. Whole install took four days for a 1200 s.f. home and it looks beautiful. No flaws, he even got woodwork professionally stained in a modern style as we went with a dark wood design. Workers were professional, cleaned up and left home in perfect condition. Definitely would hire again."

"We struggled to find a contractor to take on this somewhat unique project. I guess because it is a "wine cellar" some folks probably saw dollar figures when quoting, so we got some pretty high estimates. It was sure refreshing when Stan's bid came in just about exactly where we expected it. From day one we were impressed. Stan listened to our requirements carefully and drew up a detailed bid for the project at a cost we felt was reasonable and fair. He started the project very promptly (very much appreciated), and worked diligently throughout, finishing everything up almost two weeks ahead of schedule! Amazing attention to detail, Stan took the extra steps we might not of thought of (such as protective covering over studs where electrical or plumbing was present, for example). Our one change order was handled quickly and effectively, and Stan was always on site personally (if not doing the work directly himself). This project also involved installation of a specialize wine cellar cooling unit (split system - think HVAC). These are complicated units, and I doubt very much he had any experience with them previously. He and his crew pulled it off perfectly. We were very impressed, and wouldn't hesitate to hire again. The window ended up being a bigger job than expected because the exterior storm window was difficult to remove. However, Kelly got it done, then unclogged a tub drain, installed a ceiling fan, removed a broken light fixture, and fixed a sticky gate. "Very Well. Bryan Llanos is responded in a timely manor to my request for an estimate. He was in time for our walk-through and provide d a written estimate within 24 hours. He was professional throughout. The estimate came in on the middle. It covered paint, osinting, fixing nail holes and small cracks and moving large furniture. It was easy to schedule the job. Bryan said it would take 2-3 days. The crew arrived exactly when promised and set to work immediately. I left. When I returned in the evening my furniture was grouped safely under tarps, the floor was covered and most of the walls were done. Tho my delight job was finished by the next day. I was able to vacuum and sweep and begin to put things back together that evening. Bryan made an appointment for a walk through and payment which was accomplished professionally. I did not have any serious complaints and feel he would have made things right if I did."
