The work was a challenging replacement of a decayed and rotting box gutter on a circa 1850s historic home on a steep hillside with 36 stairs. There was no way to save the box gutter. Ryan and his team of Jeff and Dino worked long days in high heat and humidity to get the job done in two days. Not only did they replace the gutter, they remediated some of the sloppiness perpetrated by previous roofers at no extra cost. I got three bids on this project, and although Always Perfect Contracting was not the cheapest, the level of craftsmanship more than warranted the price differential. I cannot recommend these guys highly enough—7 stars (out of 5)."

"The crew at Burns and Scalo got us out of a bind. We are a small historical society with a home on the national register. We went with a low bid for our first roof and it was a mistake. The contractor sent people who must have never put on a roof before. The roof was a total failure. Burns and Scalo was recommended to us, came out and looked at the job and re-did it. They used better materials and for the same price as the last job, meven installed a new deck. It wasn't a large job but they made us feel like we were the most important client on earth. We will never forget what Adam and the others did for us. It was amazing. This roof was put on a year ago and we have had no problems at all. I wouldn't use anyone else."

And they always give 110% performance! A few weeks ago, I noticed water was beginning to leak around the ceiling area of our chimney. The heavy rains were very unusual for the winter months. Nonetheless, I was concerned the problem would get worse if I waited until spring—so I called Dorin. He responded within 20-minutes! And two-days later he had workers on my roof making repairs. "Gunner Roofing We used Gunner to replace shingles. They told us that if we upgraded the skylight to one that is solar powered we would get a tax credit of 30% of the entire job, a savings of over $2000. We weren't planning to replace the skylight but the numbers made sense. When we filed our taxes for that year we learned that the skylight they used did NOT qualify for the tax credit. They mislead us to spending an extra $2,500 on the job. When I called to complain I left a message but no one ever returned my call. This is after they didn't do a good job on the roof and it took them months to come back and fix the leaks they caused. STAY AWAY!! Show less"

Initial communication was great. Ron was very responsive and helpful during the quoting and scheduling process. He was extremely honest, always making sure that we got the best value for our money. Mainly due to these positive qualities, we decided to work with him instead of another contractor that had a slightly lower bid. He came out with another helper and completed the job within a day. They ground out the mortar joints, repointed the chimney, and applied a chimney crown. The chimney looks great and seems to be performing as expected. We would definitely recommend working with Ron and his crew. They seem like true professionals and masters at their craft."

Never happened, zero contact after initial 10 minute $129 visit. Also, did not follow local mask mandate and could not work the fireplace flue, which is not difficult to operate."
