"Inspector (the individual) personally recommended by my realtor.  He arrived at the home a few minutes before the scheduled time and had already begun the outside survey when I arrived.  The inspection was very thorough and found several cosmetic items that both the agent and I had overlooked plus several electrical issues that would otherwise never would have been spotted (including inside the breaker panel which he opened).  Based on the professionalism exhibited by the inspector, I ordered a radon test (over a 3-4 day period) which did identify exposure at very slightly above the recommended limit (and which was remediated by the builder). <br /> <br /> Because of the electrical issues that turned up during the inspection, I scheduled a re-inspection to be performed after the builder had made corrections (I didn't feel qualified to judge those corrections).  Again, the inspector was on-site slightly before the scheduled time and completed the re-inspection in accordance with my expectations. <br /> <br /> At the time the inspection was scheduled, USInspect had provided a very detailed explanation of what the inspector would, and would not do, during his inspection.  Unlike some other reviewers, I was, therefore, able to anticipate just what to expect."

"The inspectors arrived on time and did a very thorough check of the home. I was impressed by all they uncovered. I would have never thought to check the items that the inspectors did down to the speed at which sinks drained and the temperature in the refrigerator. The inspection report was arranged by category and even included a summary at the end that identified the major problems.
