"Adam M completely assembled my new rocker recliner chair with massage feature in a most professional and efficient manner. Initially he even dismantled my defective chair and boxed it up for me to have it prepared for the pickup return to Walmart. I wholeheartedly recommend Adam M (and his Elite Enclosures LLC). I plan on calling upon Adam M in the next couple weeks for another project. "

"I've rarely enjoyed a home improvement project more than the one just completed for us by Classic Cabinet Fronts. From planning, to execution, to clean-up, communication was excellent and the quality of the work was top-notch. Brad and his team member Craig were consummate professionals, but also fun, and easy to work with, and responsive to every request. My existing cabinets now look fantastic and new."

"File this under "you pay for what you get". (The bid was less expensive.) In September 2012, I hired Fitzpatrick Painting to paint and caulk my house. This included a "10-year warranty" with an inspection by the company every two years. The company provided me with a copy of their fancy "warranty". In July 2019, the paint failed badly on one side of my house. I called Fitzpatrick Painting who sent out one of their "senior" inspectors to examine the issue. The inspector confirmed that the paint did indeed fail and I was entitled to a rework under warranty. Since that time, Tim Fitzpatrick, the owner, has done the best impression of duck, dodge, and hide in taking care of this problem. In 2019, my job was delayed until it was too late in the year. In 2020, he couldn't do it due to COVID. Now, after numerous emails, he appears onsite in August 2021 and has no "recollection" of the problem, the delays, and even the inspector who made the decision in 2019. He now refuses to correct the failure of his company's paint job that his own inspector confirmed. When confronted with his lying and deceitful business practices, he immediately sped off the job site and barely missed hitting his own worker's vehicle. Don't be a victim of this charlatan as I have been. AVOID!"

"I can’t even begin to explain how impressed I am with the quality of work and attention to detail placed on installing our counters. Our kitchen and bathroom had intricate corners and they used their artistic talent to seamlessly blend the flow of the stone. I highly recommend Signature Surfaces for any of your surface needs and can’t wait to use them for our next projects!!!"

"Everything went great from having James giving the estimate to the technicians that did the job. Billy and Thomas were prompt, efficient, hardworking, and professional. They let me evaluate what I thought every step of the way and were always willing to do whatever I needed to get the job done to my satisfaction. They also finished up a day early so I had my kitchen and bathrooms back sooner than expected. I was highly impressed and would certainly hire them again for any additional work."

FAQs for cabinets reface projects in Veneta, OR

Absolutely. Refacing returns 65% to 80% of your investment at resale, and you get an updated kitchen right now. Because you’re not paying for new boxes or demo work, the price lands well below complete replacement but still delivers a fresh, custom look that buyers—and you—notice every time you walk in.

To trim costs, start by pricing a high-quality paint or gel stain instead of full refacing—stain alone can be one-third the price of full refacing. Keep existing hinges and pulls if they’re in good shape, and shop sales for sandpaper, primer, and sealer. The sweat equity is real, but so are the savings, and a careful DIY job can still leave your cabinets looking sharp for years to come.

A professional crew needs only three to five days to reface a standard kitchen, although a larger layout or intricate door style may add one to two days. Compare that with the several weeks a full cabinet swap can drag on. In other words, you get your space back fast, often before the paint on the new doors is even fully cured.

Yes, you can replace just the cabinet doors and drawer fronts without covering the cabinet boxes. Cabinet refacing involves installing new doors and drawer fronts while applying veneers to existing cabinet boxes. If you’re satisfied with the condition of your cabinets, swapping doors and drawer fronts reduces labor and materials, saving you time and cost. Always consult a professional to confirm compatibility and ensure a seamless, high-quality finish.

Most cabinet refacing projects do not require removing countertops because professionals can access doors and drawers around existing surfaces. However, if your countertop overhang prevents full access to the cabinet boxes, contractors may need to lift the countertop to install veneers properly temporarily. Discuss this with your refacing specialist during the on-site estimate so you know exactly what the project entails.
