"I can’t say enough about Everguard Insulation. I live in a two story, 2200 sqft home, built in 1986, which over the past 13 years of ownership has proven to be very poorly insulated. With recent summers getting hotter and hotter, and winters feeling colder and colder, I knew I had to do something. Whole house fan, Check. New double pane windows, Check. Finally, AC, Check. Still, even with all that, hot in summer, cold in winter. I reached out to a number of insulation companies, but was not happy with the responses from any of them, until I found Everguard. I explained my situation, and they suggested two options; 1) Clad the inside of my roof with a radiant barrier, and/or 2) Increase my attic blown insulation from the present 3” depth to 13” depth. Since I already had solar panels on my roof, acting as deflectors of direct heat, I chose to go with the 13” of insulation. It is important to note that I reached out to Everguard in the spring of 2022, and didn’t finally arrange for the work until the fall. Another company might have hounded me for the sale. Everguard just made a few courtesy calls during a 6 month span, just to see if I was still interested. I appreciate that. I can’t stand pushy salesmen. When it came time for the installation, a crew of two arrived and worked quickly, cleanly, and efficiently, completing the entire job in just over one hour.
