"I can’t say enough about Everguard Insulation. I live in a two story, 2200 sqft home, built in 1986, which over the past 13 years of ownership has proven to be very poorly insulated. With recent summers getting hotter and hotter, and winters feeling colder and colder, I knew I had to do something. Whole house fan, Check. New double pane windows, Check. Finally, AC, Check. Still, even with all that, hot in summer, cold in winter. I reached out to a number of insulation companies, but was not happy with the responses from any of them, until I found Everguard. I explained my situation, and they suggested two options; 1) Clad the inside of my roof with a radiant barrier, and/or 2) Increase my attic blown insulation from the present 3” depth to 13” depth. Since I already had solar panels on my roof, acting as deflectors of direct heat, I chose to go with the 13” of insulation. It is important to note that I reached out to Everguard in the spring of 2022, and didn’t finally arrange for the work until the fall. Another company might have hounded me for the sale. Everguard just made a few courtesy calls during a 6 month span, just to see if I was still interested. I appreciate that. I can’t stand pushy salesmen. When it came time for the installation, a crew of two arrived and worked quickly, cleanly, and efficiently, completing the entire job in just over one hour. "Everguard talked to me throughout the process, first over the phone to get an estimate, and then in person when I was not sure if we would need to clean the attic or not. We did not end up needing a cleaning, but Everguard did check out the ceiling cracks we pointed out and assured us that adding insulation would still be safe. Given our house is rather small, but their guys were able to install the radiant barrier in under 4hrs and the following day blew in all the insulation about 1.5hrs, quite efficient if you ask me. The end result is that our house is 10-12 degrees cooler than it was previously on hot summer days. Everguard was punctual on both days is the most competitively priced insulation option that I was able to find. tl;dr Would recommend."
