"Last October, my sister, an elderly veteran living alone, contracted Genie Bath Systems to remodel her master and guest baths. She was diagnosed cancer and passed before the remodel was complete. Which, to be fair as we were not able to work with Genie while attending to my sister. The contract was expensive. Very expensive. The cost of the remodel is close to 1/4th the value of her home. I noticed there were issues with the remodel that showed a surprising lack of attention to detail. Genie sent people to address the issues twice. Yet issues remain. My calls to my contact at Genie are now being ignored. Also, the only document I have for the remodel is the contract my sister signed. It is not detailed. I have and continue to ask for a breakdown of the cost. An estimate or work order. This request is also being ignored. I am disappointed and have to wonder why Genie will not provide this information. I have several other questions for Genie that I will not go into here. But based on my experience, I cannot recommend Genie. In fact I would warn anyone considering Genie to be very careful about the cost of the contract."

"I wrote a positive review to begin with but the work showed its quality soon enough. The wrong pipe used on water heater, rusted through and leaking, a Jerry rigged exhaust on the water heater that had to be replaced with a boot, an outdoor electric cord for a floodlight left exposed that?s romex for internal use. Ring floodlights I had to reinstall correctly. Toilets we didn?t want we had to replace. I wish I had better things to say as I did early into our relationship as evidenced by my first review, but he ghosted me after doing a lot of work and issues started to show up. I thought he was a friend, but he took advantage of me as a young homeowner and then disappeared. He even smoked in our attic while doing the water heater. He also rarely cleaned up his messes after the project, just leaving them for me to pick up. We had to pay large sums of money to actual professionals to fix the issues. Be careful?and use someone reputable, it will be cheaper in long run. -Jonny B"

The team did a great job in removing all of the rotted/damaged wood and rebuilding the shower, making it a little larger, leak free, installing a light, a grab bar, and finishing it off with some nice new ceramic tile. What had been an unfortunate unknown issue before we purchased the home turned into a much nicer and brighter walk in shower."

There may be a minimal plan fee upfront, but if you contract with us, the fee will be applied to the contract amount, however, we always provide FREE Estimates. Irving Trend Builders is comprised of our construction (Trend Builders) side and security screen (Trend Security Screens) businesses. Trend Builders is the name of our construction and remodeling business. We are a design/build firm; meaning we architecturally design our projects using the latest Computer-Aided Design and build the projects we design. Residentially, our primary focus is remodeling all aspects of homes (inside and out), first and second-floor additions. "Once again, Trend did a wonderful job for us. After suffering from 5 break-ins in the early days of the Covid shutdown, many of our large windows were broken. We had to board them up and that made the inside of the church like a dark cavern. We managed to raise the money to have the security screens put on all of our doors and the sanctuary windows. This time, a year of so later, we raised the money to do two of our office windows and the windows in the fellowship hall. Trend and their employees know exactly what they are doing and sell an excellent product."

"Once again, Trend did a wonderful job for us. After suffering from 5 break-ins in the early days of the Covid shutdown, many of our large windows were broken. We had to board them up and that made the inside of the church like a dark cavern. We managed to raise the money to have the security screens put on all of our doors and the sanctuary windows. This time, a year of so later, we raised the money to do two of our office windows and the windows in the fellowship hall. Trend and their employees know exactly what they are doing and sell an excellent product."
