"It was such a pleasant experience working with Carol at Perfection Countertop. She listened to what our needs were and was so friendly and helpful. The very first time I talked with Carol I hung up the phone and thought I feel like I have a new friend. She gave me some ideas to look at before we even met with her and she was right on with what we were looking for. Once we met with her she helped us pick out the countertops and then continued to help us with our sink and hardware for our cabinets. I felt like I had someone helping me through each step and help with each decision we had to make. We ended up not only doing our kitchen countertops but did our bathroom and bedroom vanity as well. " Just moved to condo in Chicago that was in need of updating. We originally came in contact with Countertop Services because we wanted  to restore some older furniture that we have.  We also wanted to repurpose some other furniture by refinishing it a matte black. When Gerardo saw that we were getting bids on the floor he asked to bid on that also. He also took us to see an example of a floor that was done about three years ago in a model townhouse. We were so impressed by that floor as it looked absolutely beautiful.  We received three bids on the floor and Countertop's was by far the best  in value as well as being a detailed description of what was to be accomplished.  We considered an engineered floor but after seeing the example in the model we chose to go with the hardwood floor. We also decided to have Countertop Services do our furniture as well. The floor is beautiful, as well as, the furniture we had refinished. We couldn't be happier with everything nor with the way the work was completed. The workman came everyday when expected if not a bit early, cleaned up after themselves. We also were having a new kitchen installed so we were very pleased the way they handled that schedule, all the boxes, moved our furniture out of the way, as well as moving everything back. Overall we couldn't be more pleased and look forward to working with Countertop Services, as we continue to update our condo. "We had marble counter-tops and bathroom shower stalls to clean, polish and seal. The effort and quality of work was excellent. Zuka is the owner. He did all the work himself over a two-day span working non-stop. In addition to grout repair, he removed and re-caulked all of the surfaces."

"We are thrilled with the results! We have worked with Carol Hasler on the redo's of our master and hall baths and now the kitchen. Carol is wonderful to work with. She starts by understanding what is needed and wanted and then strives to provide the best possible solutions. Her designs take advantage of the good points of the existing situation and then move to improve where ever possible. We removed everything in the kitchen, moved locations of refrigerator and stove, eliminated a peninsula and added an island. The new cabinets are beautifully made and emphasize the height of the room by being taller than the old ones. Once again, the tile work is the signature part of the room (as was the case in the master bath). The backsplash is a combination of glass subway tile, metal rail, and glass mosaic tiles. It pulls the whole room together. We particularly appreciate the way problems are addressed, calmly and with ingenuity. Carol helped with sourcing and selection of all the important materials-granite, lighting, tile, colors, etc. We never feel abandoned. A real plus was reusing one of the discarded kitchen cabinets for the laundry room. That and the tile make the room look new. Overall, the workmanship of the job was great. Any issues have been resolved quickly and with no arguments. They stand behind their work, even after the passage of time, as was the case with the resolution of a problem with the master bath fan which was installed two years prior. We recommend Kitchen Village and Carol Hasler without reservation and only feel sad that there is nothing left to remodel in our house."
