"No star for Eli, owner of American Pavers. You won?t get follow-up unless you post a negative review. He repeatedly asked me to remove my initial review when the problems were ?fixed? (which I did), yet my backyard is sinking again. His so-called lifetime warranty is a sales pitch and resulted in no shows, no calls, no apologies or explanation, only threats. He indicated he would report us to the police for posting a negative review. After contacting him, he promised someone would come. Lots of back-and-forth and extreme delays. He texted 100% for sure Saturday morning, then nobody showed. He blamed weather (though it wasn?t raining). Everything is documented. This is about Eli personally (not his hardworking crew). He lacks integrity, respect, accountability and reliability. Communication is terrible. Customer service among the worst. Don?t trust Eli or American Pavers."

We do stump grinding, land clearing, rock & milling delivery/installation, culvert installation, tractor work, fill dirt, sand, and rock/shell delivery & installation. We also do hardscape such as paver stones and can make any outdoor kitchen, patio, or pool deck idea come to life. We are certified by the ISA for arborists and have Pest Control & Herbicide certification & licensure so we do tree removal, tree trimming, and tree injections. We appreciate our clients!

"I clearly stated I wanted a contractor who would give me a product I wouldn?t have to tend to. He laid rock and mulch WITHOUT putting a commercial plastic down for weed prevention. He said he would have to charge me $1,000 more. He charged me $8,000.00 to start the job (cash $4,000 down and the rest upon completion. He never came back to put in a drain screen he was throwing in. My job was not very big at all. I will say his guys were sweet. I am 71 disabled female Air Force Vet and my 19 year old granddaughter lives with me. He has stood me up to do a few things for over 2 1/2 weeks. I am constantly weeding and spraying which if he did the job correctly it would have not had happened 2 days after completion. I had another company come by today and took my stump out $200.00. Whereas Hackford wanted to charge me $450 only to level the stump. Hackford had taken advantage of my situation. He also quoted me a smaller area for around $3500.00. Buyer beware - "

"I recently completed a large pool and deck renovation project with Surfside Pavers. The work involved the setting of more than 2500 square feet of large format 20 mm and 10 mm porcelain tile. The job was quite challenging for a variety of reasons but particularly because of the multiple elevations and the many complicated angles involved. I have to say it was executed to perfection. Surfside’s attention to detail was exemplary. I never saw anyone setting tile without simultaneously verifying their work with a large level. As a result, the tiles were all perfectly aligned with one another and the drainage of the deck was even better than promised. I particularly want to thank Keith Spalding for overseeing the project. He always made time to explain their plans and intentions and patiently answered my many questions. It was obvious he had complete control of the situation and was absolutely dedicated to making our vision a reality. I would recommend Surfside Pavers unreservedly. The submitted a new invoice almost a year later and threatened to put a lien on the house when I pushed back. They are terrible and I will tell everyone I can that."
