"Barbara presents herself very well, showing to take your project and not let money be the issue, however my experience with her was not professional. We signed a contract and I prepaid her more than half, with the faith that she will follow through, but after she purchased few things for me online and I paid promptly for those items and choosing paint, she abandoned my project when she found another lucrative project that she wanted to devote her time to, later blaming me for not taking a decision on her suggestions, the project never saw implementation phase, just online shopping for my project. I am disappointed by her work ethic as the contract was never fulfilled, she charged me more than half the project fee and abandoned the project pursuing other lucrative deals. I feel betrayed."

"Architect & designer, Stephanie Brick, has been so great to work with! I highly recommend her if you are looking for someone who is capable, efficient, & will lessen the stress of any project. About 8 years ago she helped us remodel our bathroom. She knew exactly what she was doing & helped guide us thru the process. I still remember standing in a tile showroom, totally overwhelmed by the choices. I called Stephanie, at a loss of what to choose, & within 10 minutes she had reassured me & reframed my task in a new way that gave me clear inspiration. I was placing my tile order within half an hour! Stephen was so good at her job that she somehow ended up making me feel proud of what I'd done! 🤩 Mind you, this was all done with us in CA & Steph in MD. But doing the job long-distance was worth it, because of the quality, design, & integrity Steph brought to the job. We loved our experience so much that she's now designing our kitchen! "I signed a contract for work to be completed in 4 weeks. 4 Months later, work was finally (mostly) done - but only with extreme nagging on my part and excessive excuses and push back. The contractor only came to the project site if his sub-contractors created an issue (which was often). They dropped my A/C unit down a 10 foot hole, they didn't finish half the projects they said they would and completed the other half incorrectly based on hand drawings and gestures because neither the contractor or I could speak the same language as the sub-contractors, they made promises to show up and never did. Worst of all, they used design plans from a previous contractor that were approved by the city - but didn't use those plans and never updated the plans. The city inspector came and did not pass the project due to this discrepancy, but Vladimir told me it had passed. The city told me the permit expired. So - now Vladimir won't answer my emails and I have to pay someone else to fix it all."

"We have used Paulanne at Exquisite Designs for two large-scale remodels in our home during the last five years. Initially we hired her for a complete kitchen remodel that included replacing all flooring on the first floor of the home and selecting paint colors for other rooms in addition to the kitchen area. Paulanne is an amazing resource. She was beyond attentive to any and all needs and concerns regarding the remodel. Every choice she made turned out to be wonderful. She kept in constant contact with the contractor to ensure that the remodel was completed in an efficient manner. Her help with cabinet, granite, flooring etc selection was invaluable. Last year we hired Paulanne for another remodel to a master bathroom, the creation of a new guest room, new blinds throughout the home, new carpet, new windows, and a custom walk-in closet among other things. Once again I leaned on her heavily and trusted her with the decisions I could not make – whether it was tile or paint or placement of structures. She managed several different contractors for us and her oversight could not have been better. I have recommended Paulanne to friends over the years – one of which has now hired her for the second time too – and will continue to do so. We cannot be happier with the end results of both of our major remodels."

"I needed a wooden fence repaired on short notice. Edin responded to my Angi's List posting, looked at the fence and 2 gates to repair, then gave me a good estimate on the work. Initially I thought the estimate to be a little high however, looking at the detail he offered, the estimate was reasonable. Edin adjusted his other projects to take care of the fence as the timing was critical. When completed, he replaced one section of fence, re-set another post that was moved over the years by the yard (he re-set the post in cement) and connected the loose sections to the post correctly, repaired two gates that needed cross-boards replaced plus re-set the posts for the gates, and replaced hinges and latches on 3 gates. All of this was done in one day and turned out exceptionally well. I wish I had engaged him last year! Holy Land Landscaping is top-notch. They cleaned up the yard when finished and truly did a very professional job. Thank you Edin and team!! (and by the way, the price was quite reasonable for the work and quality provided). Edin and his team are wonderful to work with!"
