"We worked with Robert at Vezes Carpentry Solutions, and the experience was excellent. Robert was easy to talk to, showed up on time, and really knew what he was doing. The custom cabinets came out great—solid, clean work, and exactly what we asked for. Everything was done smoothly and without stress. The area was left clean, and the quality really shows. Would definitely work with Robert again and highly recommend Vezes Carpentry Solutions to anyone looking for good, reliable carpentry work."

"Edward Ryan worked with us every step of the way... he helped us get the designs and permits and did a large amount of the work himself. He has a great work ethic and kept everything moving forward. The subcontractors he did use were very professional. They did such a great job that you would have a hard time figuring out where the addition was put on if you didn't know where to look. I fully intend to use him again for home renovations we have planned."

"Chris did a fantastic job redoing our cabinets. We live in Atlanta and this is our second home. Not being here worried me slightly. But Chris kept us in the loop by taking photo’s daily and calling us to review what he did. He showed up everyday at nine and worked all day. Everyone who has seen the new cabinets rave about them. Cabinet Pros is the go to company in this area for your refacing needs."

"The job was done on schedule and for the agreed upon price. They did everything they said they would and more. The workmanship was excellent?things lined up right, edges were straight, etc. They were very respectful to us and our property?they took care to control the mess, and always cleaned up as they went. They were pleasant, courteous, professional, and genuinely friendly. They came when they said they would. They were easy to deal with on the phone and in person. Overall, we are very satisfied with the quality and result; it was money very well spent?wish we?d done it sooner. We could easily have spent over $10K just for the refacing portion (we had a number of folks come out to quote the job). We also liked the fact that unlike many others who pitched refacing services, Affordable Kitchens offers a lifetime warranty on the doors. The other folks offered thermofoil doors with only a few years of warranty. Another thing we liked is that this is what these 2 guys do, and they are local. That low overhead shows up in the price. You get top quality work and materials for far less than what you would pay when going through a third party service (like you?ll find at a big box store). We?d highly recommend them to anyone who wants to make a dramatic improvement to their kitchen/bathrooms for a fraction of what it would cost to put in new cabinets. What a difference it made!"

FAQs for cabinets reface projects in Wabasso, FL

Absolutely. Refacing returns 65% to 80% of your investment at resale, and you get an updated kitchen right now. Because you’re not paying for new boxes or demo work, the price lands well below complete replacement but still delivers a fresh, custom look that buyers—and you—notice every time you walk in.

To trim costs, start by pricing a high-quality paint or gel stain instead of full refacing—stain alone can be one-third the price of full refacing. Keep existing hinges and pulls if they’re in good shape, and shop sales for sandpaper, primer, and sealer. The sweat equity is real, but so are the savings, and a careful DIY job can still leave your cabinets looking sharp for years to come.

A professional crew needs only three to five days to reface a standard kitchen, although a larger layout or intricate door style may add one to two days. Compare that with the several weeks a full cabinet swap can drag on. In other words, you get your space back fast, often before the paint on the new doors is even fully cured.

Yes, you can replace just the cabinet doors and drawer fronts without covering the cabinet boxes. Cabinet refacing involves installing new doors and drawer fronts while applying veneers to existing cabinet boxes. If you’re satisfied with the condition of your cabinets, swapping doors and drawer fronts reduces labor and materials, saving you time and cost. Always consult a professional to confirm compatibility and ensure a seamless, high-quality finish.

Most cabinet refacing projects do not require removing countertops because professionals can access doors and drawers around existing surfaces. However, if your countertop overhang prevents full access to the cabinet boxes, contractors may need to lift the countertop to install veneers properly temporarily. Discuss this with your refacing specialist during the on-site estimate so you know exactly what the project entails.
