"They did not properly power wash the deck areas, the steps down to the yard, or the attached screened-in porch/shed. The time it took from getting their equipment out of the truck to packing it back up was only 45 minutes. It was far from a thorough job. They failed to sand the surfaces that required sanding. They did not fully prime the wood and applied one incomplete coat of stain. The contract stated they would apply two coats of stain. There were numerous areas untouched by any stain, leaving plain wood in view. They stained over leaves and debris, which caused it to start peeling in many areas. The crew did not leave the leftover stain (that we paid for) behind for any touch-up work. If we could rate a zero, we would."
