"John Graeber is now my Mr. Fixit. He did one job for me, and I feel that he communicates well, does what he says he will within the agreed time and price, and will be honest if there are issues. The honesty is as important to me as anything else. <br /> I have a rental house and needed someone to fix some stone tiles on the front and back porches. Mr. Graeber agreed to check out the job and estimate it for me. I told him I was looking for someone who would warrantee their work - I wanted it to last. <br /> When he got there, he let me know that the existing installation was "not the best", and that his fixes would not last as long as I wanted - the state of the porch wouldn't support it, and realistically I should expect to replace the entire set of stone tiles in a few years. He knew that wasn't what I wanted to hear, but he told me anyway. <br /> I asked him to go ahead, schedule with the rental tenant, and do the job. He finished within the price and time he quoted (pretty reasonable) and also fixed a rotting window sash in the same trip. My tenant was happy with his demeanor and work. When I went to inspect a few weeks later, I saw what he meant about the state of the porch tiles in general, and both the tenant and I agreed with his assessment. <br /> I will comfortably recommend him to anyone who asks. <br />"

"Sean and his foreman Chris did a great job of repairing all of the dry rot on my home (approximately 200 linear feet), priming the new lumber, caulking and sparkling all of the work, pressure washing the house, and repainting the house and gates. Sean also replaced my bathroom light fixture, repaired one of our outdoor faucets, removed all of our raingutters, and filled the gutter downspout holes in the sidewalk with concrete. Sean was able to contact a roofer to take up and replace the shingles that needed to be removed to do the repair work as well as a company to replace the gutters. "This man's contributions to our expansive townhouse renovation are without measure.. The realtor who got to see both the before and after views of his work immediately asked for his contact info. His work spanned over a month and was without exception excellent, allowing us to save enough money to keep on budget while others were indicating projected costs of over twice what our budget allowed. He performed door replacement, plumbing (including toilet seating for during some flooring project) ) as well as fixture repair and replacement,. He repaired door locks, easily replaced plastic ceiling covers for fluorescent lights which required specialized cutting ( the previous handyman had to drive downtown to get this done by some glass cutting place).
