"Kito is wonderful to work with! I already have referred him and his crew to my neighbor, !who hired him for his kitchen remodel! Kito worked with me throughout the entire process - from purchasing the cabinets (and finding me the best value product for my limited funds) to installation (all done within days, including his assistance with replacing my bathroom cabinet) to clean-up (trash was immediately taken to the dumps, boxes were flattened, and floors were swept and vacuumed!). I think the best part of this company is that they seem to be able to do ... EVERYTHING! I've already notified Kito that I'll be hiring him again, whenever I need a construction company! I strongly and whole-heartedly recommend Kito Olita and Olita Construction!"

"Aaron Shimizu is the rare architect who’s both design-minded and execution minded. We run Lanikai Homes (high-end renovations + design), and Aaron has been a key partner for us personally and professionally. He’s responsive, communicates clearly, and produces plans that builders can actually build from—no fluff, no confusion, no surprises. The biggest thing that sets Aaron apart is his deep knowledge of Honolulu DPP and permitting. He doesn’t just submit drawings, he knows how to navigate the system, anticipate issues before they become expensive problems, and help people get out of situations they didn’t even know they were in. We’ve seen homeowners buy a house and later discover unpermitted/nonconforming work that can lead to major headaches or fines. Aaron is a wizard at creating a clear path to get things legal and moving forward. If you want someone sharp, practical, and dependable—especially in Honolulu, Aaron is an easy recommendation."

"DiAmico Design was very efficient and expeditious in contract signing to plans development and completion of plans in timely manner. Michele new all the rules/regs of City and County of Honolulu, which made for easy progress to completion of panning and permitting process. I would highly recommend DiAmico Design services. "Once I sent her all the measurements, it took her a little while to get the options back to me.  Overall, they're good designs.  However, they're very simplistic and give general ideas for space planning.  I was hoping to have a better idea for sizes of furniture for the space and some variations on staging.
Jill was very responsive when I did have a question.  I'm not sure how helpful it is to have a virtual design done.  If we lived in similar cities, I'd probably use her again for help with additional designs.

"It is a waste of money. The great majority of people are not going to find any value out of the service. If you need design consultation, you need a full service consultation. If you already have knowledge and experience, and you just need to get a few ideas, then you don't need to pay for that. You can just get a magazine or a book since you already have the knowledge of basic designs in your head or a little bit of experience. To have someone call you and give you information over the phone, you are not getting the personal service that you need. You may as well take the money $49 and apply it to something else like getting someone else to come out and give you the service that you need. Because, you are not getting much, you are not getting anything at all. They are going to have you do the work. After talking to them and I was talking to other home designers, I found out that that was a waste of time and waste of money. I gave them a C because they didn't fail at what they do but they don't offer any value for what they do. There's not much value to it. The cost was fair. They didn't do a terrible job and the cost isn't terrible, it was only $49. It just has a very low value. For responsiveness I gave them a B because they will answer your phone and answer your emails."

"I love my new kitchen. I donâ t have a design eye myself so it was great that they had a design team available for me to assist with choices. My Project Manager was very personable, I will be reaching out in the fall to do my deck! Thanks again Beyond Builders!"
