"Went fine; I'm writing this more than a year later--apologies--so I don't recall the name of the provider. He was very helpful with good practical pointers about longevity for the toilets (how to read flow of incoming water), frequency for flushing the hot water heater, where to turn off the water in a crisis, turning it off at the street--and what tools to have, among other tips. Also the critters to watch out for--black widows, for one, when lifting the meter cover.
Our family has used Triangle Plumbing and Backflow for a variety of tasks, from installing this current hot water heater, to replacing old high-water-usage toilets w/ Totos at my parents' home. They're close by and good to work with. They are our go-to plumber.

"I would highly recommend Pro Plumbing - My AC went out on a Monday, and I called another person who serviced it in the past on Tuesday - never received a call back until Wednesday evening. By that time, I called Pro Plumbing on Wednesday morning - Joshua Clayton was out to my house by 2 pm - was able to get me set up for the next day with a full system. By Thursday at 8:15 am - Shaun Roberts and Bryan Jones were at my house removing my old unit and installing a brand new more efficient unit. They spent over 8 hours making sure everything was set up correctly and up to code. I could not be more appreciative for their professionalism. They spent probably more than 4 hours up in my attic making sure everything was easy to get to and set up correctly. The only con on this whole process was price. It was a little bit expensive, but with the service I received, I am willing to pay just a little bit more. PS I also got a 1-year service agreement with the unit that includes - two visits for my air conditioner/heating unit, two visits from a plumbing specialist and two visits from an electrician specialist."

"Had old CPVC replaced with PEX. Required demolition of drywall for complete replacement for 3 bedroom 2. Full bath house son to be 4 bedroom 3 full bath. Sophia and her crew performed flawlessly would highly recommend great troubleshooting skills work was done on time and time without water was 24 hours. Based on the favorable reviews of other members, I called three providers at noon. Unlike the other two, owner Scott Martin returned my call within 20 minutes even, as I learned later, he was away on vacation. I explained my heater had burst and needed quick replacement. I brought up the possibility of installing a tankless heater. He asked about my household make-up and usage, and advised the extra expense would not be cost-effective. He is a Rennai Tankless dealer/installer! He said he might be able to get a technician available in 2 hours and would call me right back. He did, and we arranged for a 4 pm installation.

His tech, Michael called 15 minutes beforehand reporting a traffic delay and he arrived soon after 4. He was very professional and, working alone,  completed the removal and replacement by 7. He checked the connections, discovered a small leak, and fixed that. We had hot water that evening. Scott did not charge extra for an emergency call that ran over into the evening; and, he applied an additional discount for my having found him through Angie's List!

The next day I discovered another small leak, called Scott and Michael was there and had it fixed by 1 pm.

I can't thank Scott and Michael enough for their responsiveness and professionalism. THAT'S how to run...and grow... a business!

"This is my second time hiring John to do renovations in my home. I had such a great initial experience that I had John remodel my bathroom. As was before, John is a pleasure to work with, great at communicating about timeline and his availability, and does great quality work. John removed and installed a new toilet, vanity, lighting, and retrofitted the existing pipes. He also repaired drywall as needed, re-mounted the toilet on a newly installed floor, and installed new baseboards and quarter round. His attention to detail really shows in his work. I couldn’t have asked for a better finished product. I’ll be reaching out to John for any future renovations."
