"thanks to this site, I called Greater Wilm. Structure about a brick house I was buying that had cracked brick and unlevel floors. I assumed I would only (!) need to have that section of the home jacked up and the foundation repaired. Brian returned my call quickly, and met me and my realtor at the house (was a 45 min. drive for him) to give me his opinion and verbal price quote. Many contractors/carpenters would have just focused on the project and the money involved, but Brian wanted to see WHY the house had sunk. He pointed out the major structure issues with the tresses in the attic, joists, as well as other red flags, that would cause problems later. He's a master carpenter and his knowledge, experience (and sense of humor!) was refreshing and valuable. After meeting with him I decided to pull my accepted offer on the home and feel I have saved myself untold amounts of money, stress and frustration. I will definately be hiring this company in the future."

But after a month we returned and no working bathroom (reason? hard to line up the trades). So showering at gym? Returned after 2 months, still no finished bathroom (now hard to get inspectors). By third month it was clear that project management was the problem. Items such as vanity, toilet and shower door were paid for and on site, but not installed. Why not leave us one working bathroom? More issues with lack of documentation for engineering calculations/cost of materials, poor communication, treatment of subcontractors, not present for county inspections or deliveries of cabinetry, etc. Final straw was the flooring - incorrect wood ordered and installed. Severed relationship. Richie asked us to pay him $ for close out so the subs on site could complete their work. We paid him, but he did not paid his subs and we had to pay twice to get work done."
