"Went fine, other than the shower seat wasn't available during the initial installation, and would have to be installed later."

".This visit occurred prior to Orville selling the business. I have always been satisfied with Mr. Hay's work. He was always up front about his recommendations and what he thought best for the situation and the estimated costs. He was our first choice of plumbers in the Jacksonville area.
However in 2014, it is a different story. We needed to have the sump pumps and garbage disposal replaced. Tried contacting the business several times without success. We left messages, but did not receive any follow up contact. I do know that at the time, they were involved with a large job at the grain elevators south of town.
We finally got tired of leaving messages. We utilized Manchester Heating and Plumbing. I was able to talk to a person versus an answering machine. Chad arrived promptly and efficiently installed the sumps and garbage disposal at a very reasonable price. He arrived on time and is very professional. He is fair and honest in his pricing and estimates. I would highly recommend this local independent contractor.

"I found The Kitchen Master through Google – they’re between me and my train station, I’ve driven by thousands of times and never knew it was there! I worked with Anna for design, who came to the house and immediately pointed out all the little things I hated about my master bath before I could volunteer them. Both she, Tom (project manager) and everyone else I dealt with had great attention to detail, provided great design advise (because boy do I need it), and had excellent communication – available by email and phone, plus you can see day by day progress through their nifty web portal. Jobs were completed expediently, with basically zero punch list items. All around, just a really pleasant, zero stress experience, which was very important for me as I travel constantly for my job and needed someone doing the work that I didn’t feel like I needed to babysit. I was even confident and comfortable enough with their work that I went on an international vacation while my bathroom was being done! I can’t say that about any of the other people I’ve worked with in the house. Plus they went the extra mile to figure out how to deal with some unique materials in my townhouse (a weird subfloor that needed some special handling) and what had stymied other flooring companies in the past was a complete non-issue for these guys. So far I’ve had them replace my kitchen floor and all but gut my master bathroom, and I’ll absolutely use them again for the other bathroom in the house. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The Kitchen Master and Anna specifically to anyone looking for remodeling."

"Excellent prompt affordable service.
I was contacted directly by Patrick, the owner, over the holiday weekend.
He quickly scheduled an appointment for Tuesday after the long weekend. Once he assessed the work needed, he got me a great price.
By Wednesday morning, he and his team had installed a new garbage disposal and new toilet. All the work was done quickly and while I was at work. They got everything done properly and left no mess behind. It was a seamless process and I am very satisfied with the results. I will be using them again for any plumbing issues.
I highly recommend this service.

"I called and asked him to give an estimate. He came and did the work without telling us what the cost would be. It wasn't until a week later that we got the bill. At least the cost was reasonable, but it would have been much better for us to know either at the time of service or before what to expect."

"I received my radon results in a timely manner. I did not hire them specifically, (so, I cannot say I would hire them again) the local company contracted them for this service. The home inspector I hired, handled this service for me and included the results in his report."

"We had water back-up in our basement and didn't know if it was sewage or just water back-up, since we had recently had lots of flooding in our area. The technician explained that since our house had sat empty for 2 years, all the sludge in the pipes settled at the bottom, and needed to be cleared out. We shouldn't have this problem again. He explained what the problem was, and what he was going to do in order to fix it. And then - we forgot our checkbook, and only had $117 in cash on us - and our total was $145.00. He was just going to accept the $117 and be done with it, but we insisted that we'd pay the next day. This was a great transaction, and we will definitely recommend this company to anybody that needs a plumber.

"I have used Tony's Plumbing once before (in March 2014) on the recommendation of a neighbor. On that occasion we had a non-functioning kitchen sink due to blockage that could not be cured by Drano or plunging. He came promptly when called - within a day - which was really nice because it's amazing how not having a useable kitchen sink can disrupt life! Tony rodded the drain, adjusted the disposal trap and added a new o-ring. He did a great job, cleaned up after himself and charged a very reasonable fee - especially since he was here for several hours and some of the rodding had to be done from the outside. (I also learned that asparagus spears are a bit too fibrous for a disposal!) So when we purchased a new faucet for the kitchen he was the first person we called for installation. He showed up promptly at the appointed time. He quoted us $140 for the job if there were no problems. When he discovered a rusted out/frozen valve (in a 28 year old installation - not too surprising) he charged another $35 to replace it. Fortunately he had the part on his truck. The job was painless, and our new faucet works well. I will call him again for any plumbing needs.
