I contacted Window Depot for an estimate on replacing my bedroom windows that had broken seals and for 2 large sliding patio doors.  They returned my call promptly, arranged for an onsite- visit to measure and provide recommendations on the best replacement windows for our home. They provided me with a bid and left without any pressure to purchase and made recommendations on repairs to other windows in the home.

When we were ready to purchase windows we called them back, they said they could order the windows that day and told us they would call us when the windows were ready to set-up an installation appointment.  When the windows were ready they contacted us and we set up a time for installation.  They said it was probably a 2 day job because the patio sliders were triple pane and would take time to set correctly.  We agreed upon which 2 days and they arrived promptly at the time they said they would be at the house.  They install all of the windows and doors in 1 day and the gentlemen were very professional.  They cleaned up quickly and left nothing behind.

What a delight it is to have a local firm know how to treat their customers.  They answered all of our questions, took time to explain why their windows were so different than our current "replacement" windows. We have the other half of the windows to replace next.  We will not go out for bids, this team will definitely get more business from us.  Their customer service is second to none in my opinion.

"Jim was very responsive and took a detailed approach to installing windows, a new front door with sidelights, and a side door. He and his installer were able to work with our family and dogs coming and going. They got the work done in two days with minimal time when our house was exposed to the elements. They cleaned up after themselves and were professional throughout the project. I had not used them prior to this and just went off the HomeAdvisor reviews but I would certainly use them for any future projects. We had talked to two large window/door companies that spend a lot on radio ads and the price was below what they were going to charge and the work seems better than some projects our neighbors have recently completed."

A few days after my system was installed, I triggered a false alarm. The monitoring station called right away and did not hang up until assured that all was well. I did not have to wait or try to call them and get put on hold like with my old system. I only wish that I had more houses for them to install their system into, but since I don't, I plan to refer them to everyone that I know. 1st Security is affordable, state of the art and comprehensive. They are honest with no fine print that you have to worry about! I sincerely appreciate Jeremy and Larry and sleep so much better because of them . Thank you 1st Security!!!"

"Excellent work. We purchased natural cherry cabinets in shaker style, with the panels made of solid wood rather than veneer. That is more difficult work, as each panel has to be constructed from several planks. Moreover, the clear finish would leave any flaws more visible. Simply put, the doors are beautiful--flawless in both construction and finish. They are similar in quality to custom cherry furniture we own."

"I am very pleased with the new front door installation. I had a pleasant experience with everyone involved: Angela who scheduled the initial visit and installation, Joe who came out and took the door measurements, Randy and the other installer (sorry, I don't remember his name), and Bill the installation manager who came out to address the lock problem I had with the door.
NOTE: Before installer leaves make sure you can lock & unlock the door with and without the key, and that you can remove the key once the deadbolt is in the locked position. Don't just hold the door open & try it; actually close the door and make sure everything works. This will save you a lot of problems.

"The Window Nation techs arrived early, were friendly, and worked diligently. They replaced the windows one at a time, setting up plastic sheeting on both sides to reduce the mess. They also vacuumed after each new window was replaced. When in the bedrooms, they would close the doors to keep the cold out as it was cold and wet on installation day. When finished, they went over opening and closing the windows which would allow for cleaning both the inside and outside and how the sliding door worked. I am extremely happy with the new windows and with Window Nation. I would highly recommend them."
