"First of all, I never write reviews, but Bob was great! He was friendly, knowledgeable, and did an amazing job. Power washing came out great and the house looks so clean now! I definitely recommend him if you need any power washing done. No need to hire a big name company and pay more money. "

"The team was very professional. Came on time, answered all questions, moved furniture for us and clean up after they were done. We had walls painted and they did a great job. I would highly recommend."

"I had a completed Bathroom update from shower, tile and tile flooring. To kitchen tile floor along with the Dinning room and Hallway. The quality of work this company did was Outstanding!! From quote of project to time line. I cannot say enough about the expertise of the workers which matched their work ethic. Always making sure every detail was on point and approved by me. A full Bathroom update plus laying over 300 square feet of tile with full demo of both areas. To come under 3 weeks speaks to the diligence of their work. Every detail was 5 star and I would highly recommend this company. Along with this review will be photos of the project ( they speak for themselves)"

"I hired P & D Painting recently to paint the exterior of my home. The red cedar shingles, windows, and deck had not been painted in over 15 years and were definitely in need of some TLC. After all of their scraping, priming and minor repairs everything looks like new again. Don and his crew did an AWESOME job! Don was great to work with every step of the way. I will definitely use P & D Painting again for future projects on my home."

FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in Warwick, RI

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
