"I found Andy Hawkey through Angie's List and Consumer Checkbook, where he is rated superior for price and quality of work.  Andy lived up to that rating.  He spent over two hours replacing a pressure relief valve; installing a backup battery sump pump; and repairing a leaking hose bib.  I had a backup battery sump pump from a previous home.  Before installing it Andy determined it wasn't working correctly and suggested that I purchase a new one.  Andy did other work while I ran to Lowes and purchased a new unit. I asked if I needed to replace the sump pump at this time or could I hold off for now.  Andy looked at the unit and said it made sense to not replace it at this time (the unit is 8 years old) and wait until there is a problem with it.  Instead of replacing a hose bib that was leaking, Andy repaired it and didn't charge me for that service.  Andy showed up on time and was a true professional in all his work and dealings.  His wife accompanied him and helped out as needed.  I highly recommend Andy Hawkey Plumbing. <br />"

The team also did extensive work to replace old corroded galvanized pipes with copper pipes. In addition we had our old sink and bath fixtures replaced. He was very accommodating to my schedule in setting up an appointment, and the plumbers - Tom and Mark - arrive promptly on the specified day. In replacing several of the valves, they also managed to simplify some unnecessary complexity in the plumbing that had resulted from previous modifications. "AC Remodeling did an incredible job in an unbelievably short amount of time. It's not because they cut corners or rushed through it, it was because it was so perfectly scheduled, and the team of installers were so hard working and diligent. The owner, Alex Reyes, was very detail oriented, and he would not allow any materials or appliances to be used that were not very good quality. I could have had the job done for slightly less, but it would have been poor quality materials and workmanship, and it would have taken a lot longer. They promised it would be done in 16 work days and it was, just in time for Thanksgiving! The transformation was amazing!"
