Small jobs welcome

"Dan and Mike were honest, upfront, and professional. We hired them to do a few small things and decided to have them do other work that we had been thinking about getting completed eventually. They gave us reasonable options, worked around our schedule and upfront with all expenses and labor costs. We have recommended them to many friends and already have other projects they are looking at for us."

"They are TERRIFIC!!! they are going to be doing a lot more work for me. They have great ideas to inexpensively repair things instead of replacing them. Their work is excellent and they are wonderful to work with; very helpful. I would enthusiastically recommend them.
"

"
A+++ contractor: Honest, professional and pleasant.

We hired B. Davis Enterprises to complete a Breezeway and restore the cellar. I had big plans for the cellar, but Mr. Davis crushed my dreams in that. However, that was a good thing. He could of done a few things and took away a few thousand dollars, but Brent gave me an honest evaluation that I would be throwing my money away if I touched the cellar. Second, he could not in conscience do that job because it would have been a waste of money. So we focused on the breezeway. The final product came out beautiful and made a great small addition to our 19th century house. He meticulously matched the paneling to the house and it looks great. Again totally honest and WILL NOT BUILD ANYTHING THAT VILATES CODE. Yes, building to code may be a little more, but that may be the price to be honest.

Brent also did a few small jobs at no cost to improve the beatification. A great experience and we plan to use B. Davis Enterprises for our future upgrades.

"

"I chose Putnam painting because I had seen some other houses painted by Putnam, and those places looked really nice.
Mr. Putnam was very prompt with the painting and roofing estimate. He was disappointed
that I chose his company to only paint the house, instead of new roof and painting, and he bargained a little louder, but
I had already decided on another company to replace the roof.
I was pleased with the exterior paint on my home. Each change of color was $150.00 more, but
he did tell me that up front. I chose white paint with grey trim. Mr. Putnam was helpful and patient while I chose colors. My next door neighbor also got an exterior painting estimate from Putnam, but he (my neighbor), felt
the estimate was too high. My neighbor did want at least three colors for exterior and trims.
The house looks very clean and sharp and I am pleased with the work. The old paint was quite faded. It took the crew about one day and a few hours the next day to do the painting. They used a paint sprayer for most of the job and brushes for the trim.

"

"I met Brian when he answered an ad I put on craigslist looking for a honest, reliable handyman. I set up interviews with five or six guys who answered my ad and Brian was by far the best - he showed up on time, he knows what he's doing, and he gave me a great bid on the work I needed done. I own several rental units and since that first job I have hired him many times to do other minor maintenance and repairs on these houses. So far he has done plumbing and electrical work, doors, windows, drywall install and repair, built shelves, balanced a washer, got a sticky lock working, and many other miscellaneous small jobs.
One of Brian's strongest skills is that he can look at something and figure out what's wrong and/or why it's not working. He's done this many times for me and it has saved me a truckload of money because he will suggest a simple, inexpensive fix requiring few parts and/or materials rather than advising me to rip the problem out and start over. Doors, windows, leaky faucets, installing light fixtures, repairing toilets, etc., he gets the job done quickly and efficiently. He shows up when he says he's going to, gets to the job within a day or two, charges a fair wage, and always stands behind his work. He'll also go the extra mile to find the part he needs or get help with a difficult problem. Every single time he has found a way to solve the problem and get the job done, and he doesn't charge me an arm and a leg to do it.
Brian does a good job every time, charges a fair wage, and saves me money on just about every job he does! I will continue to use him in the future and I would recommend him to anyone who asks. He's a great handyman to have on call!
"

FAQs for handyman service projects in Waterford, PA

Winterizing shields your home’s structure and key systems from snow, ice, and freezing temperatures. By sealing drafts and tuning up heaters, you cut energy waste, extend the life of appliances and windows, and avoid surprise repair bills. A small up-front investment keeps rooms cozy and protects the value of your biggest asset all winter long.

Yes, it’s important to prepare your sprinkler system for the winter. Blowing out the lines and insulating above-ground parts keeps valves and pipes from splitting when temperatures drop. A quick winterization visit costs far less than repairing burst components in spring, and it ensures your lawn--and your wallet--stay in good shape once the thaw hits.

A full home winterization plan goes beyond sealing windows and pipes. You might schedule a home energy audit, cover outdoor furniture, service the snowblower, swap smoke-detector batteries, add outlet gaskets, and hang storm doors. Each step beefs up your home’s protection, cuts drafts, and lowers the chance of costly cold-weather damage.
