"I highly recommend Deck Buddy. Our screened porch (inside and out), deck and stairs were badly in need of cleaning and resealing. We had 4 different companies out here to quote the job. Deck Buddy was by *far* the most professional of the bunch, extremely competent and moreover pleasant to work with. They came exactly on time and were able to answer all my questions and were extremely knowledgeable about the work and the products/services they would use/perform. Their bid was neither the highest nor the lowest. Their service tech spent 3 days here cleaning, repairing, and refinishing our porch and deck. It looks like new. I am so pleased. We have attempted to do this work ourselves in the past, and paid to have it done by a different company once before, but never achieved the results Deck Buddy did. I should add, that when we paid to have this work done before, it did not seem like the other company applied very much product to the wood. This time, with Deck Buddy, you can see the wood is thoroughly sealed. Also, in comparison to our earlier experience, Deck Buddy took care to cover all my plants and also the house siding to protect from overspray. (Not protecting my plants was a problem with a different powerwashing company we hired once - my hostas were shredded - you have to watch out for this). Deck Buddy was extremely careful with everything and left no mess or debris behind, the porch and deck look great, the garden is unscathed. It was a job well done. Thank you!!!!"

"We hired Kris' Painting Service to paint our deck/screened porch with a colored sealant. At first we were happy with their responsiveness and thought their quote was a good deal. As the project went on we were less happy with their communication and by the end of the project their overall quality of work. The door to the screened area needed to be replaced and they said no problem. They left the old door in our yard. Not very professional. They also told us there were multiple color options for the type of sealant but never asked us what color we wanted. Just didn't seem ask communicative once they signed us on and we sent in the deposit. The last thing is the new door was painted on most of the surfaces but they didn't paint between the wood and the screen. I understand this would be difficult but that's why we hired professionals. If it cost more, tell us and we'll pay for it but don't leave a half painted door. They also didn't install hardware on the door which again just seems like something they should have included."

"Contacted Arlington Fence and Deck and they responded quickly. They were able to give me a general estimate for repair of several sections of a 6-foot privacy fence and a gate based on photos I sent. We set up a date for Mike to come out and do a detailed estimate. The detailed estimate was actually a bit lower than the first estimate. I also had cast iron railings that had rusted posts that needed repair and they gave an appropriate estimate for that as well. There were two different dates to do the two repairs and they came and did a great job on both. I'd definitely use them again."

I have a fairly large deck with lots of spindles, a set of stairs, a pergola and lattice around the bottom of my deck.</p> <p>Jon power washed my entire deck/stairs/pergola/lattice (took about 1/2 day), he spent a couple of days sanding down my entire deck project which was needed due to wood roughness and the previous owner doing a lazy multicolor stain job. He then hand stained my entire deck/stairs/pergola and spray stained my under deck lattice.</p> <p>I believe I contacted Jon in March and he had me booked after a couple of other projects for the end of May. Due to the weather being very very wet and rainy in 2015, my project got pushed to late June and took about 2 weeks to complete. Price also included the cost of the stain. Jon requested the cost of the stain to be paid before he started and the balance was paid at the end of the project.</p> <p>Book him early! He is worth every penny. He answered all my questions to my complete satisfaction and gave me guidance on the best way to maintain my two wooden decks. I asked him to put me on his schedule next Spring to clean and work on my decks and wouldn't have scheduled him again if I wasn't completely satisfied with his work today. I am definitely using this company again and will highly recommend them to neighbors.
