"Better and Better! We’ve had our HydroTech irrigation system for almost a year now and our lawn and landscaping have never looked better. It’s simple (and actually enjoyable, especially compared with dragging hoses around) to turn the system on and off based upon the amount of rain each week. Problem areas near driveway corners are doing well, and the gentle spray provided by the sprinklers installed by our flowers has keep them looking their best. The HydroTech team has provided expert “turn on” and “turn off” service. In the spring, they were happy to tweak spay patterns to cover a few new plantings as well as a bit more coverage at the edge of our property. And we continue to admire the heavy-duty irrigation system piping and conduit – far more substantial than do-it-yourself solutions we’d investigated. We also discovered another HydroTech benefit several months after installation. When we leave our home for a trip, we turn off the main water valve in the basement to assure a copper pipe “pinhole leak” (we’ve already had one) or other malady doesn’t cause a mess in our absence. HydroTech, unlike the other sprinkler company we’d investigated, taps into our water supply near the street. This tough-to-install approach done at no extra charge permits us to run our sprinklers when away and still guard against an unmonitored water leak in our home. Brilliant! Great job HydroTech!"

"I had a company come out on Saturday and the technician Cassid he couldn t find the main water valve to activate the irrigation system and would need to have a team come out and poke around in my lawn to find it. Needless to say that nothing was accomplished on Saturday. Brothers Irrigation came out this evening and had everything up and flowing in less than an hour for a 16 zone system. Awesome customer service. I ll be having them come back out to winterize and do anything else lawn and garden related."

"Very pleased with the outstanding customer service provided by Geary Powell and The Irrigation Professionals team. I submitted an Angi request to have a sprinkler system installed Monday afternoon September 11. Geary called me the next morning and was at my home four hours later to survey my property. His estimate was more than $1,500 less than the other two I received and included a highly rated Rachio wireless control box. After Geary completed the estimate, he told me they had an opening to install the system the following Wednesday, September 20. The team arrived at 8 a.m. and worked diligently for the next eight hours to install 40+ heads in eight zones. The foreman/plumber also did an excellent job plumbing in the backflow preventer, which required him to route the tubing through an enclosed ceiling in the basement. When the team was finished, they re-compressed our turf back and seeded the bare spots to restore our lawn back to normal. After the installation was complete, the foreman showed me how to download the Rachio application to my cell phone, walked me through the process of programming each zone to account for vegetation, sun exposure, land slope, etc., and did a quality check with me. Following his advice, I set up the irrigation profile to run before sunrise the next morning. The system worked perfectly, even telling me when and for how long each zone ran. I'm amazed by how irrigation technology has progressed over the years, as the Rachio controller connects to the weather service, which combines with the rain sensor to stop watering when it rains. And of course, the convenience of controlling our system via phone is an added plus. While the foreman was connecting the system to our water supply, he had to cut a 9 by 9 inch hole in the basement ceiling to insert a 90 degree connector into the tubing. His cut was very neat, he preserved the drywall, put down plastic to catch the dust, and told me the company would send someone out to repair the hole. The next morning Geary called to see if we would be available for someone to take care of it between noon and 1 p.m. that day. A very courteous young man arrived at 12:30 and less than two hours later (which included time for the mud to dry), just like the irrigation project, the work was completed flawlessly. In fact, you canâ t even tell a repair was made. Bottom line: from initial contact to delivery I couldn't be happier with the service we received from The Irrigation Professionals. The professionalism and outstanding customer service displayed by Geary and his team definitely live up to their name!"

"My family was very happy with the services provided by Superior Landscaping. At first our project started out small but as my wife and I became more appreciative of Troy and his honest feedback and recommendations, we expanded the scope to include more services. 1.) Installation of french drain - We started with just a french drain to address standing water issues in our front and side yards. Superior installed a "horseshoe" french drain the surrounded both sides of the house and backyard, draining water from the gutters, sump pump and yard to the street. After 1+ month since the french drain was installed we've noticed a tremendous improvement with the usability of our yard after a heavy rainfall. No more soggy/muddy spots. The materials used and dimensions for the trench seemed very good to allow for the needed drainage. 2.) Installation of Patio and Retaining Walls/Garden Edging - We expanded the project to gain more usable space in our backyard with the addition of a patio and retaining wall. The work involved excavation of areas around an existing deck to create a flat and usable patio for entertaining. It allowed us a nice space to place a firepit, chairs and also an area where our children can play. With the patio a retaining wall was installed that also has the height to serve as a sitting area. This was expanded the other garden beds in the front and back of the house. The craftsmanship of the work was top notch. 3.) With all the excavation required, we included the installation of sod to our back yard and part of our side yards. Proper compost soil and very fresh sod were laid down. A month later the grass looks amazing! All garden beds were also mulched and trees were trimmed to allow for more sunlight in the backyard."

"The service for the big deal from AA Irrigation MD LLC was okay. It was okay, it wasn't great. It was fine. It wasn't real positive or negative. They did what they said they were going to do. We were going to do some other business but we didn't end up doing anything with them. I had a couple of sprinkler heads down and I was hoping that they could bring them back, fix them but I don't think that they even did that. Since they came back I went back to my original contractor that I had done the sprinkler work with, he put a whole new system in for me. It was pretty much as it was after they got done doing the services for me. There wasn't any benefit one way or the other. They assessed some of the issues that I was having but they didn't fix any issues that I currently had to my recollection. The pricing was good."

"Things were going quite well until I inquired about bagging excess grass that lay on the lawn and flower beds after the job was done. I was then told that it would cost an extra $3.00 weekly to bag grass. I decided to rake up the excess instead (saving money for me). I thought the grass was being cut too low; therefore,  I then inquired about mower blade height and was told it would cost an extra $4.98 weekly to raise or lower the blade. I have been a homeowner for longer than the provider is old, have had several lawn companies attend my lawns and have never, ever, heard of such a thing....from any company.
The provider simply wrote, "If I did not charge every customer the labor to change blades or lower, or raise them I would be loosing every job. If I did not charge to bag I will be loosing with dump fees labor fees. Eventually it will add up. Please understand ." He said it would take an extra 10 minutes to adjust blades. The county waste dump is within 5 miles.
Needless to say, his services were terminated.  What started out as a $25 weekly fee would have increased to $31.92 weekly and $131.92 monthly  instead of $100 monthly per 4 weeks  had I accepted the provider's proposal.
 Mind you, clipping hedges and general lawn work was not included....just mowing. Oh, after the family mulched the flower beds, the provider's crew blew grass clippings in the beds atop the mulch. Yes, I did mention this to the provider and the blowing continued. I was simply  not satisfied. Perhaps someone else might like the additions, but not us. My neighbor, I think, uses their services and might be satisfied. I did not inquire.
