Dan and his guys demo’d a huge, old concrete patio and stairs along with clearing out numerous overgrown bushes. They installed a new patio and walkway along with two sets of entry stairs. "Metro Paving was the best decision I made when choosing who would enlarge and replace my driveway. The entire crew was amazing, led by Don, the owner. He was like a magician in the bobcat. It was amazing to watch him take an old and huge tree stump out of the ground. He must have spent at least an additional 30-45 minutes to get it out of the ground. Most contractors would have paved over it, but not Don. The driveway looks and functions amazing. We had torrential rain two weeks after the new driveway was installed and the rain ran off the driveway perfectly! It was a pleasure working with Metro Paving and I would highly recommend them to my friends and family. The price was very fair."

"We hired Driveway Specialists to do repairs to our driveway and to do a seal coat. I struggled with the rating here. If I were just evaluating them based on the quality of the work, I'd give an A. And the people I dealt with were polite and friendly. But my customer service experience with them was frustrating. I won't go into all the details here, but it boils down to this. They were at times difficult to get a hold of. Also, on ore than one occasion, I was told by them that a job would be done on a particular day or week, only to have them not show up when they said they would and not call or email to let me know or to offer an alternative. It should be a basic expectation that when someone says they're going to do work on Day X, they show up on Day X to work. And if they are unable to fulfill that commitment, they should contact the customer to let them know. On too many occasions, Driveway Specialists failed to meet that basic expectation of customer service. Reading the reviews on Angieslist, it is clear that others have had my experience, but that we are a minority. Most people seemed to have had great experiences with Driveway Specialists. I can confirm the high quality of their finished work . But my customer service experience with them was bad."
