"They came out 3 times to install the fireplace in stages: 1) roughed in the fireplace, cut hole for venting and installed venting, 2) started up fireplace with the final gas line hookup after framing was completed and fire blocks were in place and before drywalling, 3) installed the face of the fireplace after the drywall was hung and painted. <br /> Dale, the installer, was very professional. He walked me through the remote control explaining all of the options as well as a few controls that are accessible under the fireplace. He also explained the care and maintenance of the fireplace. Overall, it was a great experience. <br /> They did come out a 4th time in between the 1st and 2nd stages that I mentioned above. The inspector wanted additional fire blocking around the vent. They installed that without a hassle. The inspection then passed. <br /> Great job all around. <br />"

"This experience was excellent. <br /> He called me back within a few hours of my message and offered to come over that same day because he was in the area. I told him that we were certain we would need a camera inspection of the chimney - but he told me that rather than go ahead with that right away, he could swing by and take a look. He said those cost a lot more and often he can tell if the chimney is in good enough shape/or poor enough shape just by the visual inspection first. He said if it turned out that he'd need to do the video after all, he wouldn't charge us for the visit to come back. This honesty was refreshing from other companies we've experienced - and it saved us hundreds of dollars.  <br /> We went ahead with the visual inspection and after 20 minutes on our roof he came down and showed me a video of what he found on his iPad. I was very impressed with his knowledge/professionalism and the use of technology to show me what was going on with my chimney. When my husband got home, he showed him the video too - and then showed us pictures in a photo album of different situations and scenarios. He spent 2 hours with us but we only paid for the original visit charge (plus the service cost). Most places charge again if they are there longer than the first hour. <br /> He told us what work needed to be done by a masonry company and offered to help us find a place that could do our small job. He was very helpful in giving us tips of what to look for when working with wood stove companies so we don't get scammed or have the cheap version installed, thus making our chimney less safe. We appreciated all of the education and help and advice we received. After what he found, there wasn't immediate work to have him do, so I was surprised that he still invested so much energy talking with us about the process. Down the road when we have chimney sweep work to be done or other issues, Jim is the only person I would call. <br />"

Bob worked with us to explain the process clearly, helped us work with our insurance company, met the insurance adjuster during his inspection, ensure our specific requests were met, provided several samples of shingles, and set up time to get our roof replaced in a very expedited manner. The roofing crew was very efficient and completed most everything in a day. They cleaned up very well, and made sure to protect my wife's newly planted flowers and shrubs as best they could.
