We had a large remodeling firm managing the project, and they were the ones that managed it with Old World Stone. <br /> I was disappointed the Old World Stone would not honor their Angie's List coupon for my order, because the remodeler was managing the order.. But I am the customer and I am an Angie's List member, So I feel they should have allowed me to use the coupon. <br /> The installers were very nice and did a nice job. <br />"

"From day one, Kyle and his assistant Bruce were a pleasure to have in our home. Not only did they do a fantastic job installing the ceramic tile that we had purchased for our 2 upstairs bathrooms, but they also took every precaution imaginable to ensure that our home would be in as good or better condition than when they began the job.  Drop cloths were laid down the entire way from the front door to both bathrooms.  If they needed to place anything on a countertop or other surface, there was always something to pad it so nothing would be scratched or damaged.  They also went out of their way to ensure that the installation would be as minimally interruptive as possible.  From start to finish they were professional, courteous, pleasant, and fun to have in our home.  Kyle even worked on New Year's Day for several hours to keep the job on schedule.  And above all, our bathroom floors look absolutely amazing.  The quality of work, cuts, alignment, finishes, all spectacular.  Kyle also fabricated custom wood thresholds for both doorways to transition from the tile to the carpet and they blend perfectly with the existing woodwork in our home.  If you have a tiling job, Tilesmith LLC is the company you want to do the job.  They're the best! <br />"

"Amazing. The Granite Shop is an incomparable business. All along they were very professional and organized. They had an incredible selection of stones: granite, marble, soapstone, quartzite, quartz, onyx. And we really know--I am very picky about these things, and I went to about half a dozen other places in Madison, as well as multiple Chicago stone yards to pick through the offerings. In the end, I cancelled the reserve I had placed on some stone at MSI in Chicago because it was clear that it was not as high quality as the stone that was at the Granite Shop of Madison--and it cost more! The most important thing, though, was the skill of the fabricators at the Granite Shop. They fabricated everything with an accuracy that amazed us. It was all done to the millimeter. Our experienced builder (working in Madison for 25 years) had told us that the Granite Shop was excellent, and we are happy to confirm his assessment. We will need to have additional work done in a year or two (basement wet bar), and we'll definitely be coming back to the Granite Shop!"

"I contacted Patrick Doherty of Happy to Help Home Improvement based on his excellent reviews. When he came out to do the estimate, we knew he was the person we wanted to do the project. His warm personality, knowledge of all the latest trends and materials, and helpful suggestions throughout the project were all key to us. We contacted Patrick to give us an estimate in June with a Fall timeline for the project. In the months leading up to the job, we shopped for tile, flooring, vanity, etc. Patrick met us a few times as we shopped for these items and gave valuable input to help what we visualized come to life. The project took place over three weeks in October. Other than bringing in a plumber for the shower, Patrick did all the work himself. The master bath's previous look was dated and included a 6-foot bathtub which we wanted to replace with a shower. The shower turned out beautifully using porcelain, travertine, and a glass tile accent. Patrick built a custom niche in the back wall with plenty of room for toiletries, and the piece de resistance, a gorgeous corner bench. Along with the meticulously crafted shower, he installed new flooring, vanity with quartz countertop, a highline toilet, as well as painting the room, installing light fixtures, faucets, and bathroom accessories, and a recessed medicine cabinet. (Note: we hired a glass contractor to provide and install a 48-inch shower panel.) During the job, Patrick was very respectful of our living areas and took great care to cover all furniture and lay protection on the floor. He never failed to clean up at the end of the day. We really enjoyed having him around and felt very comfortable with him coming into our home when we were out. We were immensely pleased with the results of Patrick's work and recommend him without hesitation. We're planning to have him back later this year to make over our guest bath."
