"Had a retaining wall extending away from our house with a defective brick cap with failing masonry and bricks falling away left and right. We also had several spots on our brick house where the brick either separated or noticeable masonry cracks were developing. Of the two contractors I considered, Pete came by and took his time to understand the issues, match mortar and to propose long-term fixes (the first contractor just looked over photos and planned to repair what was a poor design). During the job, he gave expert advice on what areas to keep an eye on moving forward (i.e. spots where the home brickwork design could be a problem later). He also noticed a neighbor's brick chimney was actually leaning by 5-10 degrees and advised her to think hard about a repair in the near future, noting an expensive repair was far better than a collapsed chimney. In my case, he removed the existing bricks from the top of the retaining wall, preserved the vast majority of them (removed the attached mortar), poured underneath a new concrete base and reinstalled the brickwork in a way that apart from the mortar (lighter white, but essentially identically to existing) was really hard to distinguish from the rest of the house. He also removed / repaired mortar around multiple cracks around the house. And in one tricky area, he removed the outer half of several bricks (which separated on their own) and cut bricks to replace and re-mortar in a way that was again hard to distinguish from the surrounding brickwork. This was a 2 day job for Pete to complete. While the job was a little expensive, it was well worth the investment to make sure that the repairs would fully reestablish the harmony and attractiveness of our exterior brickwork. I am honestly a DIY kind of homeowner who really dislikes bringing in contractors, but there is no way that I could have done this on my own, at least not without leaving behind a series of eyesores... So if you care about your brickwork's useful life and appearance, or you have a complicated repair job, I highly recommend Pete."

"It didn't go because I was unsure about timing and our plans. Since our plans are so unsettled at this time, I couldn't make definite plans about anything. It seems like our plans and needs change daily. We are talking about a third person moving in with us, he has pets, we are looking at moving to another home in the area, or out of the area, a town away from here or just staying put. Our indecision is not fair to a potential house keeper so we are just putting the project on hold till we have some answers. I appreciated her prompt response and reply to my inquiry. "<p>All went fine..great job... and I'd call him again.    He is, however, bringing inexperienced sons onto the job site and will use your job as training for them which could increase exposure to liabilities to your neighbors.  In this particular case it didn't seem to matter.  They were nice young men and I enjoyed helping them learn.</p> <p>As with any tree removal company that claims they are insured, get a copy of their policy and be sure to call that insurance company/agent to make sure it is still enforce on the day they are working.  Mr. Mann will show you his insurance policy upfront probably before you even ask for it....</p> <br />"

"We have used NGR for about 3 years at our home and our office.  3 years ago we had a very strong mildew odor in our garage.  NGR came in and discovered the problem was coming from the crawl space.  They removed the mildew and sealed the walls and floor of the crawl space floor to prevent future problems.  They did an excellent job!  Then about a year ago we returned home from a vacation to discover our refrigerator had leaked causing water damage and mildew while we were gone.  We contacted NGR immediately.  They removed tile flooring, treated and/or replaced sub-floor and wall, replaced sheetrock and repainted, and replaced tile. They removed a fiberglass shower and replaced it with tile.  Again, fantastic job!   We have used NGR for several other projects at our home and office as well over the last 3 years.  The reason?  Because they are Awesome!  <strong> They are honest,  professional, and the owner is a perfectionist, which translates to a job well done every time!</strong>  They discuss options with you and don't try to force more work than you ask for. <strong> I sing their praises and recommend them to anyone needing quality work at fair prices!</strong>"

"The coupon was for window AND screen cleaning. The person I spoke to on the phone to set up the appt. was super nice, and he actually scheduled someone to come out that same day. The guy who came to do the work took the screens off every window, washed the windows and then replaced the screens. The screens were not cleaned. When he came to the door to say he was done, I asked him why he didn't wash the screens. I was told they didn't wash the screens. OK. Whatever. I guess you get what you pay for. Not sure why the coupon specifically stated the screens. The worker put approx. 50% of the screens on wrong. He had 2 screens inside out (the screens have white dividers), and 8 screens upside down. The windows did look great though! If only they could be seen behind the dirty screens."
