This project included the removal of all the old shingles; replacement of several sheets of plywood; the installation of: ice and water shields, sidewall flashing, chimney flashing, & ridge vent; and then the installation of: GAF underlayment, new GAF architectural shingles, and gutter guards. We were extremely pleased with the contractors timely and professional work. Detailed time was taken to assure that our needs & association requirements were met. All work (including dumpster placement & removal) was completed in one day. "NexGen installed metal roof in main house and asphalt singles for the garage, and I really enjoyed the process and was very happy with my new roof. Upon their suggestion, we also re-did the siding of attics, the fascia (custom bent aluminum capping), as well as gutter replacement to meet the requirements of metal roofing. The roofing and surroundings are look really nice. I found NexGen based on Angi’s recommendation. After talked to three contractors, I felt that they had the most experiences with metal roofing, very knowledgeable about the service and product, and the pricing was reasonable. The project took about a month to complete, and I had no regret to have them installed the roofing and accessories. After signed the contract, the project started with a welcome letter, which detailed the steps and the manager to be responsible for each step. I received text messages and emails ahead of time for the coming events, such as selecting the materials/colors, signing the documents, delivery of the dumpster truck or roofing materials, or crews coming for daily works, etc. Whenever I have questions and concerns, I either sent the text or call, the manager would be back to me very quickly. Not only the managers were very professional, but also the crew. After removing the old roofing, the underneath was carefully inspected, and damaged plywood was replaced. They made sure that the new installed metal panels were well protected when reaching over for the sidings installation. They always cleaned up after a long day of work, no matter how late it was. Due to the structure of my house, which there were a lot of details surrounding fascia and frieze board, they were patient to go through for capping, and it probably required much more work than initially planned, so they even came during the weekend to get it done. Overall, I am very happy with the project and would consider NexGen for other projects or recommend to others."

When the foreman informed Joe that some necessary supplies were not part of the shipment delivered, Joe immediately left to get those items from the vendor. Once the job was completed Joe return for a final inspection and even went around with a magnet to make sure all nails were picked up.
